Madelyn's POV
I can't believe it! It's Austin! I walk into the bathroom.
"What are you doing here?" I ask which makes Austin jump.
"Madelyn! Um my mum works here. Yeah that's it." He smiles and nods his head.
I look down at the sink as see an orange wig and sunglasses.
"You're in One Direction?" I ask.
"Hhhh yes I am. I wanted to tell you, but...." I interrupt him.
"But what? You lied to me instead?" I ask.
"Madelyn, I didn't want you to know because you would treat me like a fan would. I wanted to get to know you without you screaming in my face." He sighs.
"I would never do that. How could even think that about me? I hate that you lied to me. Is that the reason you wore the wig and stuff?" I ask.
"Yes." He stares at his feet.
"Then why did the others wear them?" I ask.
Suddenly the door opens behind me and I see Harry, Louis, Zayn, and Liam stand behind me with wigs in their hands.
"So you guys are in the band too?" I ask.
"Yes. I think we should do some explaining to you." Liam sighs.
We all go into the lounge and sit down.
"My real name is Niall Horan." Austin or should I say "Niall" says.
"Wait. You mean you lied to me about your name?" I ask feeling anger inside.
"Yes but let me explain." He says.
"You don't need to. I've heard enough." I shake my head and run out the door.
"No Madelyn! Wait!" Niall runs after me.
He grabs my shoulder.
"Leave me alone! I don't want to talk to you ever again. You're a liar!" I yell jerking away from him.
Right the. Dad walks out of the building.
"Good. Can we please go?" I ask dad.
"Yeah let's go princess." He says as he gets in the car.
"I'm sorry." Niall says if a soft voice as I get in the car and slam the door in his face.
We take off as I look in the rearview mirror. I see Niall with his hands over his face as if he is crying. The boys are comforting him. How could he ever do this to me? I bet that's why Karlee fainted when she saw Niall. She has been lying to me too!! How could she do this to me too? It starts getting dark while we're in the car. I suddenly get a text....from Austin. Oh yeah I should probably change his name in my contacts. Or even block his number.
"What was Austin doing there?" Dad asks.
"His name isn't Austin, it's Niall. He has been lying to me." I say.
"How?" Dad asks.
I explain everything to my dad.
"I'm sorry Mady." He says. "But he could have been doing it for a good reason. It might show how much he cares about you. Think about it."
What? That doesn't make sense. If he cared about me he wouldn't lie. I look at my phone and I have 10 new text messages. They're all from Niall. I ignore them and lay my seat back. My dad finally wakes me up and were at mom's house.
"Thanks for letting me come with you. Bye love you." I give my dad a hug as I get out of the car.
"No problem. Bye love you too. And think about what I told you." He smiles.
I walk into the house and sit on the couch.
"Are you ok?" Mom asks me.
That's it, I let out my tears.
"Austin's real name is Niall and he lied to me." I cry on my moms shoulder.
"What did he lie about?" Mom asks.
"I don't want to talk about it. I'm going upstairs." I sigh as I walk to my room.
I take my clothes off and put a purple cami on and some dance sweat pants. My phone starts to ring. It says "Withheld."
"Hello." I answer.
"Madelyn please don't hang up. Please let me explain." An Irish voice says. Niall.
"What is there to explain? You lied to me. There's no excuse for lying to your friend." I say as I hang up the phone.
