I’m a girl and I am 16 currently, soon to be 17 :p
How long have you been on Wattpad?
I only joined this April, so I’m a bit of a newbie
What's your favorite genre?
My favourite genres have to be Science Fiction and Fantasy, but I have to confess that my guilty pleasure is anything with an epically confusing love triangle!
Who's your favorite author here and why?
My favourite author here is definatly Disant Dreamer, she wrote finvarra’s circus, and I am still recovering from the shock of how amazing it is. Her plot and characters are all so realistic and her writing is so beautifully crafted, it’s truly a must read if you haven’t read it.
If given a chance, what will you say to him/her?
I hope that publishing goes well and you become a really successful author as it’s good enough to be published!
What's the most heartwarming thing a fellow user has done to you?
I was really touched when I added Arwayliia’s story to my reading list and then Arwayliia posted on my wall thanking me for reading it, I thought that that was so polite and humble.

TITLE: The Suitor Game
Genre: Romance, Fantasy
Summary:
Amelie doesn't believe in happy endings. True love? A myth. Everlasting happiness? A joke. And don't even get her started on marriage.
Unfortunately for her, her father doesn't quite share her views. Determined to see her securely settled, he throws suitor after suitor in her path.
And so the Suitor Game is created. A game Amelie plays in order to deter every man after her hand. It is a way of ensuring that she dies an old maid - which is precisely what she wants. But there's a catch. Every time she deters a suitor, her already fragile health seems to deteriorate.
Can any man find a way into her heart and win the suitor game? And when Amelie meets a mysterious man, a suitor from a far away land, will her blinding hatred lead her to make the biggest mistake of her life? Can this mysterious suitor possibly save her not only from a dreary marriage, but from herself?

How did you come up with the title?
I woke up at midnight to get a drink and on the way back upstairs I had this sudden thought, why don’t I write a book. The idea unravelled as I made my way upstairs and the name just seemed to pop into my head- it was really cool, I’ve never had an experience like it before!
What inspired you in writing this book?
I absolutely love Jane Austen and I love her witty narrative style, it was something I wanted to re- create in my writing.
What separates this story from the others?
I think my main characters separates this story from others as she goes through massive developments as the story goes on. Amelie, who is the main character, is very determined and stubborn but I think what separates her is the fact that she is highly flawed. She has to overcome her own fears and reservations and throughout the process of the novel learns to let herself love again and to not be so defensive.
Who should we look forward to in this book?
When Amelie meets her love interest things should get a little steamy…. (just joking) but when she does meet him things will become very interesting!
What do you think is the hardest part in writing this story?
The hardest part is making sure I don’t overdo my descriptions and trying to make sure that the story flows i.e. there aren’t any odd similes or metaphors that detract from the meaning
When do you usually update your story?
Usually every 4 days, but recently as I’m doing my GCSEs every 8 days
Have you experienced 'Writer's Block' and if yes, how do you deal with it?
I have a book of poetry I’m writing called Spectrum, which isn’t published on wattpad yet, when I have writer’s block I write poetry as it seems to loosen me up slightly.
If you will rate your story from 1-10 (10 as the highest), what would it be?

What advice can you give to other aspiring writers?
When writing a story see it as ‘crafting’ and try and make sure you think about every word you select so that your story is delicate and every word is aptly chosen.
