My middle name is Alexis but for as long as I can remember everybody called me Alexis haha. Even when I asked my parents why, they said it just randomly happened one day :)

How long have you been on Wattpad?
Since last year November but I haven't been writing until very recently.
What's your favorite genre?
Romance/Teen-fiction because I love cute stories :3 But I do love Horror/Thriller because I love getting the chills when you just know something scary is going to happen haha
Who's your favorite author here and why?
FreeFalling22 because 'Awakening to Life' was the first story I ever read on here and no matter how many times I read it, it always makes me cry without fail.

TITLE: 'Love' With You
Genre: Romance, Teen-Fiction, Humour & Mystery (kinda)
Summary:
Clare Hastings. She's quiet, shy and incredibly beautiful with a surprisingly witty tongue and carefree attitude.
She's moved to the new town of Crayton, California. A sweet little town with nothing to do.
But there's something strange about her. Something she doesn't want anybody to find out. Secrets she's keeping behind a solid brick wall with titanium doors and atomic bombs thrown in for extra protection.
But with two boys fast falling for her seemingly playful attitude to life; how long until her walls finally crumble?

How did you come up with the title?
The two characters that fall in 'love' are dubious about the whole concept of love and don't really know what it is. They both find refuge in each other. But their relationship is also quite dysfunctional: they love each other but drive each other crazy at the same time. So, because they don't know what love actually is, they think that the way they feel about each other is love but they're not entirely sure. Hence why it's called 'Love' With You. Gosh, that was a terrible explanation LOL
What inspired you in writing this book?
I don't really know. I guess I read a lot of books here on Wattpad and the majority of them showed the lovey-dovey cute side of love which, in my opinion, isn't very realistic. So, I decided that I'd write a story with real problems and raw emotion in it. Well I'm trying to anyway hahaha
What separates this story from the others?
I guess I just stated it above but I'll repeat myself anyway ;) I'm trying to make my story a bit more realistic: it's not going to be all fun dates and spark-inducing kisses. Instead it's going to be a bit more melancholy and realistic. Maybe even tear-jerking? Or maybe that's too much to ask for hahaha.
Who should we look forward to in this book?
Hunter and Logan! They're quite mischievous and funny (well I like to think so anyway haha), a bit dirty-minded but overall nice guys who I wish would be my best friends in real life :(
What do you think is the hardest part in writing this story?
Trying to make it both realistic but interesting and drama-filled. I've only just started so nothing major has happened yet but I know there's definitely going to be some trouble with maintaining that perfect balance between light-hearted moments and gut-wrenching, tragic moments *sigh*
When do you usually update your story?
Usually it takes me about a week to update a chapter. Each chapter is usually 5 pages, save Clare who's the main girl. Her chapters are a little bit different to the main two ;)
Have you experienced 'Writer's Block' and if yes, how do you deal with it?
Yes, I have. It wasn't too bad but it was definitely maddening. I couldn't seem to get anything out and it was so frustrating! I just wanted to break my laptop -_- But I knew that I wasn't going to get anything even remotely good sitting there and forcing myself to write so I gave myself a little break of about two days and refreshed myself before sitting in front of my laptop again. And it worked! :D
If you will rate your story from 1-10 (10 as the highest), what would it be?
I don't want to be too ambitious or egotistical so I'm going to go for a 6 right now :) It's early days (only five chapters!) so maybe that'll change soon once the storyline really starts to take off :3
What advice can you give to other aspiring writers?
Write for you, not for anybody else. Because as soon as you start worrying about what other people are thinking or how many reads you're going to get or the fact that you need to get that chapter out ASAP because people are getting angry: you'll stop enjoying writing. You'll end up writing because you have to, not because you want to and that would just be a mighty shame, wouldn't it?
