You sat on your bed staring at your phone, waiting for Tyler to call. You had called his teammate, Jamie, to see if your boyfriend of almost three years is okay. He was fine, according to Jamie, but he wouldn't answer any of your calls. You gave up calling Tyler once Jamie said he'd talk to him.

Tears were streaming down your face as Marshall and Cash, Tyler's dogs, jumped up on the bed next to you. All you wanted was to hear your boyfriend's voice. He was out of town for a game and you hadn't got the chance to talk to him before he left. Eventually you were able to fall asleep.

The next morning, you woke up to see Tyler peacefully sleeping next to you. You wanted to wake him up so you could talk to him, but you were also really upset with him. A few minutes later, he opened his eyes. "Good morning, beautiful," he smiled. His dimples were one of the many things that you loved about him. Seeing him smile made it harder for you to be mad at him.

Tyler kissed you, but you didn't kiss him back. He was taken back by your action. "Y/N, is something wrong? If there's something wrong, tell me," he said, concerned. You hesitated, and he was getting annoyed.

"You. I tried calling you multiple times and you didn't answer. You didn't even call me back!" You yelled. "All I wanted was to hear your voice and make sure you're okay. Is that too much to ask for?!"

Tears that you didn't even know were there were rolling down your cheeks. "Baby, I was busy with the boys," Tyler replied in a gentler voice than you had used. "And on the ride home, it was late. I didn't want to wake you."

"Excuses!" You jumped off the bed and yelled. "I stayed up just about all night waiting to talk to you! For all I know, you probably didn't even miss me."

"That's not true! You're honestly all I ever think about when I'm gone!" He yelled, jumping off of the bed as well.

"Well I'm sorry I take up all your time," you said walking out of your room. Tyler didn't follow you. You wanted to leave your apartment, but you had no where to go.

About ten minutes later, Tyler came into the living room. You were sitting on the couch watching TV. "Look, Y/N," he said. "I'm sorry."

"I don't want to hear it," you said, not making eye contact. You were still angry at him.

"You know what? If you won't accept any of my apologies, then why are we even together!?" He was furious.

You were shocked. You didn't expect Tyler to say anything like that. But, he did. And it made you explode. Not paying attention, you threw your arms into the air, letting go of the remote you had been holding. It hit the wall a knocked a picture frame off of it, shattering the frame. Little did you know, it was your favorite picture of the two of you.

"You want to break up? Fine then. We're through!" You spit, not thinking before you spoke. You slipped on a pair of flip-flops, grabbed your phone and keys, and then stormed out the front door.

What did I just do? You kept asking yourself. You had no where to go. No where except one of Tyler's teammates.
