Nico's POV

With Percy's arms around me, I immediately felt warmer. Although, I'd never tell him that because I'd never hear the end about how adorable I am and Percy would never give me a jacket. Admittedly though, I did find it endearing.

"Apollo is on the horizon," Leo snickered. Percy rolled her eyes and Posy leaned against my leg. She looked up at me and smiled.

"Mr. Valdez is funny," Posy says. I just smile a little and Percy lets me go so I can crouch to Posy's level.
"Don't let him get to you. He's actually very annoying," I tell her with a smirk.

"Hey!" Leo whips around.

"Sorry, it's true," I shrug with a smirk. Apollo's chariot comes to a slow stop in front of us and Apollo steps out. He is in traditional Greek armor and I can feel the heat radiating off of his skin. I look away, his muscles glisten in the light of his chariot that is still very much on fire. I can now understand what Thalia had said when she noted Apollo was hot.

Percy looked jealous and I straightened next to him. I put my arm around his waist to let him know that it's okay. He looked at me and we almost had a conversation in silence.

It's okay.

I don't wanna leave you with any of these guys.

I know.

Percy looked away and to Apollo.

"Lord Apollo. I'm sure you're wondering why we requested an audience with you." Percy is oddly formal, I wonder why.

"No, Will already told me. You need a vehicle with six seats, correct?" Apollo asked, lifting off his helmet. He shook out his blonde curls that were so much like Will's I had trouble almost remembering this was Apollo and not the goofy guy next to me.

"Yes, please," Jason says.

"Well.... let's see. Do I have a vehicle with that many seats? I don't," Apollo sighed. "I can always ask my sister for a favor though I suppose. Which of you wouldn't mind staying with the Hunt until I can get back to you at sunrise?"

"Uh..." Will looks at us.

"I volunteer Percy and Nico. Jason, Will, and I can take Posy back to camp. She'll be safer there," Leo pipes up. "Also, she shouldn't be in the presence of a God too long."

"Why is that?" Apollo asks. Leo winces, he's just realized his mistake.

"I mean, because you're so cool and all, Posy is a mortal that-"
"That... can't get through the border," Jason finishes for Leo.

"What?" I demanded.
"She can if you give her permission, Leo," Percy says calmly. "Yes, it would be best to get Posy out of here as soon as possible."

"Alright," Jason says. "It's settled. Percy and Nico can stay until the Huntresses get here."

"Assuming my sister replies in the affirmative," Apollo says. "Now there is a real problem that has just arisen." Apollo sighs in disappointment.
