··|Sam's POV|··
It's been a month and I don't know how much longer I can stand this. Kian and Andrea have announced that they're being wed on December 7th and wedding preparations are in full swing. I myself have been staying out of the plans because I'm not exactly part of the committee anymore. Kian and I never re-stated anything after that night at the club. Heck, it took me a week just to come out of my room and face them.
Now, all of us boys are seated around the living room for our first house meeting since my birthday. To say it's awkward would be an understatement. Thankfully, Ricky ignores the tension and starts the meeting.
"Alright, first matter at hand, Thanksgiving." Fuck. "Are we all having one together or are we all going back home?"
Of course, I don't want either option.
Kian is the first to speak up. "Well Sa- Andrea and I are going back to mom's. Maybe we can have an o2l one before we leave?" Typical..
"Okay, that seems fair. I wanted to go back home anyway. What is everyone else doing?" Ricky says
"Well I planned on spending some time at home before going to visit Tyler and Troye for a bit." Connor adds.
"So Lia and I will need all weekend, I'm taking her to Texas do she can finally meet my family."
"Okay, so all of us will be home all weekend, that works. And next th-" Ricky starts, thankfully skipping me. That is, until Kian interrupts.
"But what's Sam going to do?" He asks as if I'm not there.
"I'll just go home for a while, spend time with Levi." I lie. My mother hasn't invited me out and I refuse to intrude on such a family-centric holiday.
"Okay, enjoy. Now next is o2l's Thanksgiving. I leave int the morning so I mean, tonight's the only night that would really work.." JC mentions.
"Alright, after the meeting, Kian, Sam and I can all go shopping for it, while Connor and JC stay here to set up and decorate." Ricky demands. I rather not but arguing would only cause conflict. We all nod in agreement and he brings up a touchy topic. "Now, Kiandrea's wedding. We have everything all prepared right?" He asks.
"Hell yeah, all thanks to this guy!" Kian says and starts to hold JC's head into his elbow.
"What are groomsmen for?" He asks.
What happened to best man?
"Oh uh, I decided not to have one. I couldn't decide.." Kian mutters.
Oh shit. I said that out loud?
"Yeah." Kian answers my thoughts again. Oh.
There's a few moments of awkward silence before Ricky continues. "And uh, anyway, the one thing we have left is,the bachelors party on the 5th."
"Yeah" Kian says solemnly.
"Alright, I think that's enough for today let's get this Thanksgiving rolling!" Connor bursts out.
I head straight for the car without thinking about the weather and immediately regret it when I see the other two with jackets.
Too late now, don't wanna make them wait do you?
I listen to the voice and go straight to the car. The ride to the store is filled with the voices the boys up front talking about what we need to get.
They don't need you.
You're right.
When we finally reach costco, we all get out and walk across the pavement and into the warehouse.
