I'll do it for her and I'll do it for him (a Stevonnie Fanfiction)

First before we start off, I just wanted you guys to know that this how far humans have come: I'm sitting on my bed with my laptop, and my phone is playing Steven Universe, with my radio blasting whatever was on while I'm on my tablet on instagram stalking my fandom. And I was watching then extend theme song of SU. You won't believe how HARD I was trying NOT to fangirl. If you haven't seen it or you want to watch it, I'll leave it up above.

Connie's POV:

I scream, I grab Steven and try to pull him up.

"Steven let's Go!" Malachite was already stumbling towards the beach. I look back and my parents are rushing toward me and Steven.

"NO! SAVE YOUR SELVES!I NEED TO STAY WITH STEVEN!" I scream at them. The look at each other and turn and run to our car. The crystal gems are on alert and have their weapons summoned. Steven stands up and gets his shield out.

"Lion!"Steven calls. A big pink, fluffy mass leaps out from behind me. Steven reaches in and pulls out Rose's scabbard. He looks at me and nods. I nod back and take the sword. Malachite is a few feet in font of us.

"Steven! I'm sorry!" Malachite says. I can tell that was Lapis. Malachite stops.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING BRAT?!" Jasper yells. I see Garnet leap up and throw a punch at Malachite's face. Pearl throws her spear and it lands in Malachites foot. She screams and flicks it out.

"Lapis! Buy us some time!" Steven shouts. Malachite gets pulled a little further into the ocean, Steven hesitates but then throws his shield. Malachite backed up a few feet. Steven turn's to face me.

"Connie we have to fuse! We need all the strength we can get!" I throw down the sword and run towards him. We start to dance while Garnet is helping Malachite stay put. A bright light fills the dark night and Steven summons his shield and we run over and pick up the sword. Malachite stops. A wave of shock rolls across her face.

"You two can fuse?! Because fusion is just a cheap tactic to make weak gems-" Jasper gets interrupted by Garnet,

"You already used that line Jasper!"

I run towards Malachite with my sword raised. Steven's shield expands until it covers our whole body. I leap up and raise my sword.

Steven's POV:

I think Amethyst and Pearl saw what we were doing because they fused into Opal and started firing arrows. Garnet was throwing punches left and right.

I felt our legs move and find that Connie was getting ready to strike. To be safe I make the shield bigger. Connie jumps up and slices at her foot. Malachite loses her balance and falls. Opal makes one giant arrow and launches it and Malachites chest. We're trying to climb on Malachite, but we fall and land in the ocean.I feel water around my and swim to the surface. I see connie on the shore. WE must've defused when Malachite hit us. I swim over and kneel at her side. I panic when she doesn't move.

"Connie?!" I yell. I see that she has a large gash on the side of her body. The sword hit her when we fell in the ocean. I see her eyes flutter open, and she looks at me,

"S-steven? What happened?" she tries to get up but winces in pain. She falls back on the sand.

"Connie, you have a cut, no I wouldn't call it a cut, a gash on your side, I have a way to fix it. It might be awkward though." I explain.

"Just do it!" She yells. I lick my hand and bring it down on her cut. She shudders, then starts to slowly get up. She lifts up her shirt on the side, and finds that the cut is gone. She helps my up and starts to ask me about what I did. Garnet flies through the air (Lol: A garnet flew around my room before you came in) and slams against a rock. Opal continues to shot arrows.

"This is taking to long. We need Stevonnie and Alexandrite!" I command to Garnet as she walks to me. Opal defuses.

"WHAT YOUR SCARED THAT I'LL BEAT YOU?!" Malachite barks. Garnet and Amethyst and pearl start to dance. I face Connie,

"Are you ready?" she nods and takes my hand. We fuse the same time as Alexanderite stands. We grab our weapons and start firing hits. ( Ok since we don't know what Alexandrites weapon is, lets pretend there nun chucks.) Me and Connie raise our sword and shield and charge as Alexandrite towers over us swinging her nun chucks. Connie leaps up and stabs Malachite in the chest where Opal's arrow landed. Malachite shrikes and I fling shield at her eyes. Alexandrite takes on final hit on Malachite and Malachite poofs in to a cloud.

Two gems fall to the earth. One blue, one orange.
