I'll do it for her and I'll do it for him (a Stevonnie Fanfiction)

Connies POV:

I'm floating in a sea of darkness. I'm swimming in the matrix. Then a burst of color flashes in front of me, surrounding me, was an exact replica of Beach City. I gasp softly and look around. Sadie and Lars were unlocking the Big Donut shop, and Jamie was delivering mail. Start to walk forward, but hesitate.

Why was I here? Am I alive? Where was Steven? What are my parents doing? I shake my head, clearing those thoughts in my head, I walk forward. I slide over to Sadie and Lars, trying to cover up the confusion and fear on my face.

"Hey guys! Do you know where Steven is?" I ask. "I need to talk to him." Sadie looks up to Lars, whom has headphones blasting rock music.

"Did you say something Lars?" She asks him. Lars glances down and her and shouts,

"WHAT?!" She waves her hand, as to say 'Nevermind' and opens the door. I follow them in and wave my hands in there faces.

"Heellloooo? Earth to Sadie and Lars? Connie here?" I shout. Sadie yawns and flips through a magazine, and Lars hums along to the song, both looking totally bored. I stamp my foot like a five year old.

"Come on, guys. Please this is important." I whine. I groan when Sadie coughs and snaps her gum. The door bell rings.

"Oh, hello Mr. Smiley. The usual?" Sadie waves and asks. He smiles really big and nods. Sadie heads to the back to make his coffee. Lars stands next to the cast register.

"That will be $5.25, sir." He says with a heavy sigh. Mr. Smiley walks forward, not making any eye contact at me.

"Watch out!" I scream at him. I cower, waiting for him to run me over, but instead received a chill going through my body. I open one and and turn around.

"Huh, it just got chilly in here." He says with a hint of confusion. He shrugs and hands Lars the money and takes his order from Sadie. When he leaves, I was sitting in a chair putting pieces together.

I'm pretty sure I died. Nobody can see me or hear me, and people can pass through me. My eyes slowly widen as I come to the truth. I take my hand and shove my hand to the napkin holder. My hand passes through it with ease. My breathing stops. I then focus all my energy on the object and hit it to the ground. It clatters loudly, and the teens jump up and yelp.

"What the hey was that?!" Lars shrieks while picking up the napkins. Sadie was frozen her eyes wide and her mouth silently moving, the two things that spooked me way the heck out was that,

1, I'm 98% sure I am a ghost.

2. Sadie was looking straight at me while mutteringly name over and over again.

Stevens POV:

I was running with Connie's limp body slumped over my shoulder. The crystal gems were running behind me with determined faces.

"Go left at the bolder Steven!" Pearl shouts behind me. I take a sharp left, almost dropping Connie, and stop. A giant maze laid ahead of me, with leafy walls as tall as a skyscraper and as dense as concrete. A large golden arch with a triangular pink gem laid in the middle of it. I guess this is the opening I thought . I turn to Pearl.

"Now what?" She goes silent for a minuet before perking up and examining,

"Oh, go right, then left, then right, then left again-" She stops. "It continues in that pattern for a bit. You must reach the center in order to save Connie." She gives a small smile, and leads the way into the maze.

Pearl starts to babble about the history of this maze and my mom; I zone out half way through and shift Connie so I'm carrying here like a princess. I look at her, my heart slowly breaking.

I can't believe I killed her... The thought replays itself in my mind, and I continue to feel guiltier and guiltier. When I look down at her again, I almost drop her again. Her hand was slowly turning gray, and then fading translucent. I stop and drop down to my knees, calling out

"Wait guys, somethings happening." The Crystal Gems rush over and stare down at her hand, which I was lifting up to show them. They gasps softly as her forearm turns gray and her hand and wrist completely disappear.

"Is it possible that Steven's magic went into her blood, causing her to fade?" Pearl asks mostly to her self.

"Sort of," Garnet says. "It's because when a human gets killed by gem magic, there body fades instead of poofing. We have limited time now, if we don't make it, the Connie will fade forever and then we can do nothing to fix it. " She grabs Connie from me and runs through the maze, me being the closest on her heels.

Yellow Diamonds POV:

"Jasper, were are we?" I turn to my warrior. She shrugs and looks around,

"I believe we are still in the kindergarten, my diamond." She shakes the soot out of her hair. I nod and check my logs. I smile to my self.

I am so smart, I became prepared. I think happily to myself.

"Jasper," I bark. Jasper jumps up and salutes me. "Use the tracking device to track Connie, please." Jasper clicks around on her logging device and grins at me.

"She's with the Crystal Gems, in Rose's Maze." I roll my eyes.

"Why ever are they there?" Jasper hesitates, and shrugs. "I guess we will just surprise them then." I jump on a warp pad, and motion her to hurry. Jasper hurries up on the warp pad;and we warp to Rose's Maze.

When we get there, the maze stands proudly in the middle of an empty field, with light pink flowers scattered around. I walk into the maze, Jasper waiting for any orders.

"My diamond, how do you know where to go?" Jasper asks wide eyed. I smile to my self.

"That's because me and Rose go way back, my Jasper. Way, WAY back..."

Hey guys, sorry this didn't come sooner, but it came! So recap of story (so far):

Steven and Connie are BFFS with extra feelings (aka LOVE), and the Malachite came, they squad (crystal gems) poofed her, but Jasper came back and kidnapped Connie on the space ship of Yellow Diamond. Yellow Diamond gets little info from her and decides to use Connie for a fighting machine. Connie enjoys it on the space ship after (I think) 4 years on it, and agrees to fight against the crystal gems and her (almost) boyfriend. Steven and Connie fight, Steven hits Connie in the head (#getrectbySteven,Connie), creating a large, serious wound. Jasper and Yellow Diamond flee after Jasper plants a bomb in the Kindergarten, and Connie pushes Steven's healing magic away because she wants death to be her punishment. And Steven goes against that, but then they fall in love again, and Steven saves themselves from the dead bomb by doing his magic bubble. But Connie dies (good going), and becomes a ghost. Steven blames himself (because it is his fault) and finds out there is a way to save but its a life for a life policy. Yellow Diamond and Jasper follow the Crystal Gems and then you and Jasper learn that Yellow Diamond and Rose have a history.
