The Eighth Dragon Slayer

Chapter 1

*Water Dragon Slayer*

The cave was dark as usual. You might think that caves can usually be on high cliffs, but mine was under the sea surface. I can't stay in here very long, partly because I get sea sick. I know weird right. I'm only twelve at the moment, but I can't seem to get myself out of this cave. It might be because of my dragon disappearing and leaving me behind. Yes you heard me right, I did say dragon. Yeah her name was Auquaitis. I was only five when this all happened and being left all alone. I never made any so called "friends", because I didn't need any. Even though I feel so lonely, I can never bring myself to start a conversation.

I exited the cave and started to go to the mainland. I just go there for necessary foods or supplies. Looking at everyone, they all looked so happy, chatting amongst themselves. A few look at me, but then they start to talk again like I wasn't even there. I just kept my head down and just proceeded on what I needed to do.

"Yeah did you hear about the Nervana incident?" I heard someone say. Here we go again, people have not gotten over the fact that Fairy Tail, Lamia Scale and Blue Pegasis became allies because of that incident. I usually ignore thoughs comments. They get so annoying. Magnolia is about to have their cherry blossoms bloom. And only Fairy Tail could see them up close. They are one lucky guild. I wish I could join that guild. Yet I still don't have any confidence.

Then you have to know someone to get into a guild, which sucks for me. I started to walk back the way I came, that was until everything looked different. There were islands floughting in the sky, same as the rivers. Just seeing those floating rivers make me sick.

I wasn't paying any attention when a big creature came behind me. It then sent me flying when it attacked. I screamed with surprise. Falling to the ground with a thud, causing my back to really hurt. "Why you little, water dragon roar!" But nothing came excepted for my screaming. The creature gave me a confused look. Then is started to run after me, like it thought we were playing a game. I jump with surprise and possibly fright, and started to run from the animal. Crap, why did I try that in the first place. Oh yeah I had no clue the magic here is limited. Great how am I suppose to protect myself from anything.

The creature finally got bored of me and started off to go find someone else. Thank god! I started to wander around the forest floughting island I was on. That's when I came to an all to familiar sign. Fairy Tail! But this cannot be the same one. It looks completely different. It's covered in plants. When I saw someone come out. I knew I was staring for to long.

"Hey you!" yelled the girl who came out. My expression had probably fear written all over it. "Why are you gawking at our guild huh!" yelled out the person again.

"I'm s-sorry. I d-didn't m-mean to stare." I said walking slowly up to the girl. The girl had blonde hair and brown eyes. But she was incredibly intimidating. I didn't want to be around her.

"Oh you're Cordelia, why are you being so shy though?" I have her a look of surprise. Like how does she know my name.

"You're one of my allies. C'mon in and see everyone. They've been wondering where you've been." She grabbed my wrist and took me inside the guild. Everyone looked so familiar. But I've only seen them on Sorcerer Weekly. The girl who brought me in looked like the new mage, Lucy Heartfilia. I could guess all the names, but that would take so long.

"Cordelia have you aged backwards?" I look up to see another new comer to Fairy Tail that I know of, Wendy Marvell. But she looked a lot older to be my age. I started to get self conscious and covered my chest. Everyone laughed. I don't like being here. Can I just go back to my cave and be all by myself. Plus how could I live here with out my magic. This is going to suck.
