*We miss you*

The S-Class wizard trials have started and the guild has not quieted down yet. I guess the people on the S-class trials, are not just the loudest people in the guild. I miss them already though. I have no one to talk to except for little Romeo. Hes like my little brother. Hes super adorable.

"Cordelia!" I hear a little voice yell from behind me. I turn around and get greeted by Romeo's tight hug.

"Hi Romeo, what are you doing here?" I asked looking down at him. Hes just below my chin and for once I feel tall.

"I came here with dad. When do you think Natsu and everybody else is coming home." Romeo said so cheerfully and curious.

"When their done with the trials. But it could take a while." He looked down but then looked back up after awhile. And smiles at me. Be then runs off and finds someone else to talk too. That actually got me wondering. When are they coming back? And how long do these trials last.  Its been just a little while but I can't help but wonder and worry about my friends. I got back to my cave and got bored automatically. There nothing to do and no one to talk to. Jeez being lonely sucks. Maybe I should look for a job. Walking back to the guild it feels really crowded and its bugging the crap out of me.

I went back to the guild hall and went to the job board. Nab was standing there as always.

"Are you still looking for a job?" I asked him.

"There's nothing to my liking." He said.

"There never is one." I said in a whisper. Someone must have heard me because they started to laugh. I ignored them and looked at the board again. There were some jobs that needed water mage, because they didn't want to be in a drought anymore. Perfect job for me. How much are they paying? 10,000 jewel, sounds good. I took the flier off the job board and showed it to someone at the booth. Leaving withe the flier in hand and heading to the village.

I arrived to the city and it was like walking in a desert. I went to the city hall and found the Mayor. He had fans on everywhere, he was even using a hand fan.

"Hello I'm here to help with the drought." I said as loud as I could. The mayor looked up, his face was as red as a tomato, that's not a good sunburn he has. This drought has got to be a really severe one.

"Why thank you young lady!" He said so happily. I gave a smile and he lead me outside. Telling me everything I needed to do.

"Water dragon waterfall!" I yelled and water had formed where I directed it. So now the rivers are filling with new water. And there's no drought there anymore. "Water Dragon Rainstorm!" Water came pouring down from my command. Plants were growing back and even more beautiful than what they were before. All the civilians came out, little kids playing in the rain. Happy laughter filled my ears. Everywhere I looked, I could see smiles spread across each and everyone's faces. They city was as beautiful as it once was. And all the people living here couldn't be more happier. Since this was my first job, it took a lot of magic out of me. I went back into the city hall building. The Mayor was in his swimming trunks being really giddy. That ki d of freaked me out, but I tried to ignore it.

"Thank you again young lady. You brought happiness back to this city and its people," He said shaking my hand. "Here's your reward."

"Thank you.... But I cannot take this. Just making you guys happy is payment enough." I said politely declining the reward. The Mayor grinned and nodded his head. I left that place with complete happiness, but I didn't think it would be cut short later on.

                       *2 weeks later*

Newspapers everywhere say there was an explosion on Tenrou Island. My friends are gone and I have only Romeo and the rest with me. Tears had stained my face. I wonder how Romeo is taking this. Probably worse than I am. A lot of people were leaving the guild now. Not a lot of jobs come in because of the loss of the strongest team. Romeo is like a walking zombie now. And yet again I feel so mmuch like a loner since Auquaitis left me at the age of five.
