-Miles P.O.V-

"What the fvcks this?!"

My eyes felt heavy and my tongue felt numb and tasteless by all the alcohol I've drained it with.

"W-Who, W-Who goes there?" I slurred with laughter, and the bottle of liquor held by the pads of my cold fingertips.

I tried lifting my head up, but my neck felt broken as it ached each time I moved. My phone was beside me and the image of Skylar sprawled out on my bed in the morning made my smile disappear.

"I lost her.." I laughed. "For real this time!"

"Who are you talking about? Give me this!" The intruder snatched the bottle out of my hands and I fell on my back crying with laughter.

The alcohol began to blurt out the secrets..

"He couldn't erase my memory.. He wouldn't, and I left. Now he's coming to kill me-"

"WHO?!"

I ordered my eyes to clear the blurriness out from my sight and looked closely at the intruder. I was stunned...

I almost felt sober after looking at her.. "Skylar?"

Skylar was mesmerising. She was beautiful, dressed in white with her golden halo staring above her head. My mouth fell open as I saw her pure white feathered wings...

I fell at her feet and shuddered as she gently rubbed my back... I stopped breathing- "I- I can't get you out of my mind... Tell me why?" I begged. "I want to die... But I want to die in your arms, I feel at peace when your around and without you... Fvck! I'm in hell"

Laughing, I looked up at the girl that tattooed my heart with her name. Her golden eyes had brought my eyes to prick, and her pink lips had me frozen in the depths of heaven.

"I did this to save you" I cried, "Please forgive me. I love you so fvcking much it hurts..."

My eyes felt drowsy and my heart began slowing down at a snail like pace.

"Take me home, Angel"

I felt myself slowly shut down...

"Miles! Are you okay? It's Millie"

-Authors P.O.V-

Terrence was gobsmacked at the drunken vampire in front of him. It hit a soft spot deep down, because in some form... Terrence did consider Miles as his own son.

"I've tried lighting his arm on fire, but he won't wake up" Millie huffed in exhaustion. "He's lost"

Terrence looked at Millie as if she was crazy. No vampire has ever been 'lost' before- "You must be mistaken"

Millie had an apologetic look on her face, as she watched Terrence walk over to Miles who laid dead- like on the wooden chair.
Terrence began poking Miles' dead body, and stood there looking at him for what felt like hours before Millie came along and pulled him back by the elbow...

"What're we going to do?" Her brows were frowning up at a stressed out Terrence.

Terrence thought difficulty to himself, he knew there was no chance of help for his top vampire. He was soulfully hurt and taken aback by Miles' body.

"He's gone..."

Terrence snapped away Millie's hand and began to walk out the door-

Millie couldn't believe he was giving up like this? She felt furious at Terrence's dull actions. He was no help at all, and he wasn't going to help either!

"Wait!" Millie fought the urge of just leaving Miles' here.. "There has to be a way to bring him back!"

"He shut every part of his body off Millie! What do you want me to do?! Cry a bloody river for the bastard!" Terrence felt emotional and annoyed at this point. He was trying to catch his breath and not let the situation get to him.

"T-That's were your wrong" Millie sternly stated, taking closer steps to Terrence. "Miles still has his heart... I know he hasn't shut that off, he wouldn't dare considering-"

"Considering.... He's in love with Skylar-"

"And he wouldn't shut her out like that" Millie was breaking down- "I know him, and I know he wouldn't want to end like this"

Terrence looked at the crying girl in front of him, somehow it reminded him of Skylar as she cried when he took off with their money; never coming back.
-Terrence shook his meaningless thoughts away and silently thought to himself.

"Please" Millie croaked.

Terrence did have one wish to fulfil, and that was to do something good for someone else-

"We need to find Skylar as soon as possible" he spat, meaning those words deseratly since he knew they only had 9 hours or else Miles was gone.
