New Town

When Miles stops the car, I slide my window down and see a small country farm-house straight ahead. Some little children are outside playing tic -tac-toe on sandy fields. A small table is sat by elderlies laughing and chatting, a few dogs chasing cats.

"Where are we?" I ask, turning back to face Miles.

"This is a safe place, it's my place" its almost as if he was shy to say it. "Come on, their waiting"

"They know we're coming?" I say as Miles, opens his door and runs to the passenger door, unlocking it for me.

"Yeah. Sort of. Sally already likes you" he winks.

"Who's Sally? Is Sally your girlfriend?" not that I care if he has a girlfriend or not, just asking, nothing wrong with that.

"Why," he smirks raising brows. "You jealous Angel?"

"No!" I snap, pouting at him... I can't believe I just pouted at him. "I was just asking, I can't believe you!"

I can't believe myself

"Woah, chill" he chuckles, trying to hide his smile. "I was just joking, maybe"

"Miles!" just as i was about to argue back, a small, cheeky voice interrupts me.

"Oh," Miles huffs, while letting the small girl fall into his arms as he carries her against his chest. "My baby doll is all dirty?" he frowns looking at her. Her hair is golden brown and flowing into curly pigtails, as her eyes lighten a blue colour in the sun.

"Hector and I were throwing mud on each other to see who would win and not fall over" she cheers,

"And my baby doll won" she nods, blushing into Miles chest.

Awww my heart literally just melted, she is too cute!

With a few seconds of Miles brushing through her curls, trying to get the dirt out he looks at me and smiles, "Angel, meet your number 1 fan"

"Is this her! Is this my new sister! Oh boy, I can't wait!" she cheers, her eyes sparkling with dreams and a wide grin as Miles releases her onto the floor. "Yay! Come on, I'm gonna show you Cinnamon! And then we'll have a tea party and make cookies! We'll stay up late and have ...a a midnight snack!" Her small hand wraps onto mine as she continues to jump up and down like a jack in the box with no winder. "Then we'll watch all the barbie movies! Oh, then we'll dress up in princess costumes and I'll let you be Cinderella just this once" she points a finger, as I strictly nod and take down everything she just blurted out in my head.

"You two are gonna have so much fun!" Miles mocks, clapping his hands together as I roll my eyes at him. "Come on, Sally I'm going take Skylar out around the house"

"Okay," she sweetly, yet sadly sighs. "Skylar will play later, yeah?" 

Awww.... kill me now

Miles chuckles softly and kneels down infront of her, "Skylar and me will join you after, but I'm still your favourite, aren't I?" Miles pouts, speaking to her in a child-like accent with frowning eyes.

"...'course!" she smiles at him, before turning to face me and trying really hard to wink.

"Come on, tell Hector if he hurts my baby doll, consequences will follow alright" she nods, following every word that came out of Miles' lips before she runs off, Miles gently patting her down the back. 

"Sister?" I ask.

"No," he stands back up facing me and smiling mischeviously. "Girlfriend" he wiggles his furry brows, and I roll my eyes at him. 

"Get over it!" I state, as I follow him down the pavement sidewalk. "So how long we staying here for?"

"Till you fall inlove with me" I stop in my tracks, a gush of wind blowing my hair back, I look at his jet black, starry eyes. Did he just say 'till you fall inlove with me' or was I dreaming? My chest is rising and lowering at commanding speed, as he comes closer and closer and closer until were just inches apart. 

I want to kiss him, and feel his warm lips on mine again. I want him to lean against me and kill me with his poisonous kiss. I think...
