The Phone Call To Hell Pt 2

-Miles' P.O.V-

My grip on the phone shook, and a cold shiver ran down my spine in a hard electrocution. "Rixton" I spat.

"So, you remember your own father?"

"No, but I remember you as the devil that controlled my childhood!" I fired back.

His laughter echoed through the speakers in a loud echo that made you just want to be ripped out of your own skin. "Like it or not, the devil is your father silly boy-"

"I am not a boy" I snapped. "I'm stronger than I ever was, Rixton. If you want to kill me, then do it now before I kill you"

"Who taught you to stick up for yourself... Terrence?" Rixton joked, but his voice seemed like it was layered in evil.
"Relax boy, I'm not here for you"

I knew I was tough, but hearing him say that relieved my body and I slowly relaxed. Rixton was an original vampire, yet I wasn't.

I gritted my teeth and waited seconds before his answer had struck my heart, like a ticking time bomb.

"Im here for Kayla"

-Unknown P.O.V-

My shadow lurked the hallways of an ancient house that belonged to an old friend of mine.

"How do you know he's in there?"

My eyes grabbed ahold of Kayla's gold bewildering ones, and I smiled; nostrils flaring in place.

"I can smell his blood"

Her fingers laced around my elbow, as she glued her warm body against mine. A cool breeze rippled throughout my lower body and i slightly smiled. She was an Angel of light and controlled some evil around her.

I gave her a small reassuring nod and creaked the wooden door open. My eyes had immediately caught guard of the monster! A shadow of midnight blue had reined itself above the chandelier.
It had metallic sharp claws and red matte eyes. It's shape form crawled like a snake, round, and round the chandelier head.

"I-It's" Kayla was heaving beside me, while her nails dug themselves into my skin. "It's here for me!"

She was petrified

"No" I commanded. "Don't. Make. Any. Sudden. Movements"
My arms spread out in front of me; Kayla behind me hugging me by the torso.

"It's going to eat me" She shivered her words out.

The monster slid down the chandelier and swam down walls, with a dark shade of fog tracing its paths behind.

"I won't let it take you" I firmly gritted my teeth, meaning those words. "I want you to walk slowly down the corridors and call someone to pick you up. Anyone."

"W-What a-about you?"

"Ill be fine. I promise" At least... I hoped so.

-Skylar's P.O.V-

"Miles!" I shouted, following him back to the car with Mason slowly pacing beside him. "Can you tell me what's going on!"

But he didn't reply. The second he walked back through the cafe, he whispered something in Mason's stupid ear and walked out madly! He hasn't even said or looked over at me!

My arms tightly crossed my chest, and I stop running after him. I stomped my foot against the pebble in the park lane and glared at them rushing away.

'Like, am I fvcking invisible to you mate!'

Look at me! I feel as if everything he had said, told me, was a lie? I thought we were past the secrets and pain?

Apparently not.

"Stop acting like a child!"

I had been bombed out of my thoughts and Mason stood inches away from me looking like he was ready to kill.

"Don't talk to her like that!"

Miles roared, flashing to Mason and grabbing him by the collar. He didn't wait before throwing him on top of the hood of a Range Rover. The car alarm went off and I was so scared, that people might have witnessed Miles as.... a vampire.

I ran beside him and pulled him by the arm. "Lets go!" I begged.

He pulled my grip away and shook it. "I can't do this"

My whole world stopped and judging by my lack of breath, so did my heart.

"W-What do you mean?" my voice cracked and I thought right there, i was gonna cry a river.

I've been through his shit so many times! And not one day since we've been back together, had ended like a real relationship. We just got back together....

Miles took a step back and the car alarm in the background just got louder and louder.

"I love you, Angel but-"

"But" I motioned for him to continue, but the truth was... I was slowly breaking inside into tiny, miniature, little pieces.

"But this isn't the life for you-"

I couldn't take this crap any longer!

"Just tell me for God sakes! Tell me what happened! Tell me why're your acting like this! Something's wrong, what happened to telling the truth! What happened to that fvcking apology of yours! What happened to the day where you came and found me! What happened to wanting me! What happened!...." I was heaving up and down in lack of breath. My eyes slowly rose up to meet his and I was on the verge of crying. "What happened to us, Miles?"

I'm way too fragile to even hear him talk. One hurtful word from anyone, and I will literally kill myself. I'm done with all these secrets.

But, I'm not done with him.

"There's still an us. There always was an us and there always will be an us, Sky. I'm so sorry-" he looked over to the car alarm and rolled his eyes. Miles kicked the hood of the range rover and silenced the now broken alarm, while Mason still groaned above it.
"I need you to trust me. When the time comes, ill be back and I'll never leave again-"

"YOUR LEAVING?" I was stunned. "W-What does that mean? I can't trust someone who's broken me more times than I can fix, Miles"

Miles took short steps backwards, and I could feel the emotions drowning me in. Hatred and anger were towering over one another, and the smallest bit of sadness grimaced in my eyes.
The scars on my back were stinging with affection-

"Please don't go"
