Skylar was dying

Skylar's POV

"You look wonderful dear"

I came out in the long silky, red dress Terrence's slaves forced me in. My hair was turning pure white like snow and fast. Though my body shut down, I didn't care.

I knew I was going to die.

I had no more strength in me. Everyone wanted me dead, so why not give them what they want. I was going to die anyways, I heard the doctor speaking about me having cancer. As much as I hate cancer, I was glad I had it. Its pointless to try anymore.

Terrence has complete control over my body.

"Come" Mason pulled out his hand for me as we stood right outside the circle of flames.

I swatted his hand away "Don't talk to me" I stated sternly.

The bastard chuckled and backed his hands away. "Alright then." he grinned. "She's ready!" Mason screamed and everyone began to cheer.

"Witches open the gates to hell!" Terrence demanded, and as soon as I looked back to the circle.

It opened, and the flames burned down.

Mason motioned me towards the witches, and I followed holding up the red dress as I walked to my doom.

"Shine bright beautiful" Mason smirked before walking out of the circle and leaving me in.

I looked around, the flames began to burst up again as I tried to make a quick getaway.

"Get me out!" I screamed as the witches began cursing down at me.

This has to be a dream! Save me someone! I'm sorry, I'm sorry for everything that I've become! Everything that I've said, please save me from these animals!

Save me from the darkness and show me light!

The crowd cheered some more; the 3 witches began casting spells that I couldn't quite catch.

This is the end, I thought.

The flames bursted up another level, now I was surrounded and couldn't see the outside of the circle.

My heart banged and banged.
I was in danger. I hadn't done so many things in my life, and this was my death. I grew up with no parents who loved me, just an aunt who took me in. No loyal friends, just betrayer's. This wasn't a good life, it was a miserable life. It was my life.

My life was meaningless and it was going to end like this.

"Ugh!" I groaned, feeling my veins empty its blood. "Stop!" I screamed, falling down on my knees.

Tears pricked my eyes as I pleaded for them to stop.

It felt like they were breaking every bone in my body. Yet, they were not satisfied. It felt like a nightmare, but it was worse... and I could feel the pain.

This has to be a dream! I screamed through my head. Monsters were supposed to be hidden under my bed, but its a lie! There laughing right in my face! I got so caught up in love, i forgot that monsters are all around us...
