My eyes flutter open, and the first thing they lay on, are a pair of black, haunting eyes. Without asking any questions, my arms are gripped around his neck. Tears start forming at the back of my throat. "Shhh, everythings alright, now." instead of trying to re-assure me ,he sounded like he was trying to re-assure himself. "Im here, Angel. Just me." his muscualr arms, wrap around my small body, leaving a small kiss on my fore-head.

"Who w-ere t-hey?" my voice betrays my strength, as it shatters into small pieces.

"You don't need to worry about them anymore, I took care of everything." his voice lays flat and hard.

My hands escape from him, as I look him straight in the eyes. It's like a black hole that never ends, "Miles, I need answers and I need them now." I seriously utter. "Why were they hurting you? Why did the man want me? Who were they and why did they come here in the first place?"

"Its nothing you need to worry about ,Skylar!" he snaps.

"Nothing to worry about!" I repeat his words, louder from my lips. "They came in like giants! Did you see how tall they were?"

"Your worrying over nothing, Angel" he wipes away a tear, that I didn't know existed on my cheek.

"Miles, please. I need answers." I look at him, as he seems to look away. "How did you get rid of them? Last thing I remember is being dragged out by the man."

"Okay, I'll tell you everything but you have to promise to stay calm." I nod at his words, feeling his hands grip around my palm. "Those men came after you, not me. The day we met, I was supposed to get close to you and ...then kill you. But I didn't."

"You, you tried to kill me?" I flinch away from his touch, trying to not believe his words.

"But I didn't, Skylar. I couldn't, it was my job to kill you so Terrence could gain more power."

Gain more power, I don't understand. Who was Terrence in the first place? My eyes lean into my palms, only realising that my fingers are shaking in fear.

'Angel, Terrence is the man who tried to capture you. Terrence is not human,' Miles lips didn't move when he spoke, I heard his voice in my head, like he could ...talk to me in my thoughts.

"What was that!?" I scream, "You..you were just in my head! You were in my head Miles!"

"Relax.. calm down and listen carefully to what I am saying!!" he snaps back at me.

"You were just in my head Miles!"

"God damn it Skylar! Listen!"

"Why'd you come back!"

"Because I love you! I fuckin love you! I can't spend a second thinking of nothing but you! You fucking drive me nuts sometimes and I love that about you but when you drive me 'a wall'... ahshsjjbdjsj!!!!" he screams quickly standing up and straightly fisting the wall, hearing it crack. "I need you and I fuçking came back to get you and go!"

I stare at his crazy jet black eyes before I respond. "You left me at your mothers, straight after you kissed me and said the same thing," I cry. "'I need you Angel!' who said that Miles! Who!??"

"I'm sorry,"

"Your sorry?" I fake a laugh. "So your just going to run away again?" I question.

"Again?"

"Kayden,"

"What do you want me to do? I didn't run from Kayden, I was trying to protect you!"

"From Kayden?" I scoff.

"Yes! I didn't want you to get hurt by him!"

"You know your right, I didn't get hurt by him! I got hurt by you Miles! You were the one who left me, not him!"

"I came back! I didn't know how to face you after Millie's party, you'd think that we'd be a...a couple," he says almost ashamed of the word.

"You know what? I am so glad that you left! Otherwise I'd be so stupid to have thought of you as a good person!"

He stays silent as I walk out the door and slam it in his face.

' no, come on Miles run after me. I don't want to leave you, I'm sorry and I need you. Please come and run after me. I just need you to grab my wrist and tell me not to go. Two words is all I wanna hear. Please I need you.' My mind goes blank as I run down the stairs to his apartment flat, tears flow like a never ending stream as I sob with anger and a broken heart.

Okay I know this isn't well written or anything.... But I felt bad for not updating sooner but I've just recently moved houses and it's been SERIOUSLY CRAZY!!!!

I will update sooner and keep it longer than usual for the action updates... (that made no sense,) but thank u to all those people who have commented and voted for my book!! :D love u all!!
