CHAPTER SIX - UNNECESSARY DRAMA.
Today morning was a literal drag.
Mom and Dad had been out of the country for a week now, so I called them up a little bit excited to tell them about all that had happened yesterday at school.
The housekeeper answered the call. It was four in the morning over here, that meant it was seven in the evening over there.
I told the housekeeper that I wanted to talk to my mom. She called out to my mom in Spanish. My parents had a thing for or probably some kind of tradition for keeping Spanish speakers around them at all times. To come to think of it, even Mom's bodyguard has his origins from Spain.
"Hello dear.", my mom said over the phone.
"Hi mom. How was your day?", I asked her politely.
"It was all good. Your father and Mr. Azdan are sharing business talks over beer right now. How was your first day at school? Did you make any friends?", she asked me, her voice filled with glee.
"It was fascinating....

I arrived at school five minutes late. The conversation on the phone went way longer than planned!
However, no worries, I only missed five minutes of my first ever school assembly.
I entered the school and was soon ushered in into the auditorium by one of the seniors. Wait...
Not only was he one of the seniors, he was the same guy I bumped into yesterday.
Wait...I have known him before yesterday's incident took place, but where...?
Before I knew it, I was in the auditorium sat next to Krissy. She was observing curiously at what seemed to be a dance performance. Oh! It's ballet!
There, on the stage, were seven of the most prettiest girls in pink tutus and leggings. After that beautiful performance, the principal gave a speech on how he was going to make this school an even more amazing place than it already is. It was around ten in the morning when the assembly ended. It was pretty long.
Krissy and I then, headed to our classes. I had English and she had Gym. I was on my way to my locker when a girl blocks my way.
"Excuse me.", I said and tried to move away from her but she didn't even budge from where she was standing.
Sigh. I tried to move past her again and she just grabs me by my left shoulder and turns me around to face her.
"Wait.", she ordered.
I look at her, surprised.
She was kind of short-ish, maybe 5"4 short-ish, had ombre blonde hair and she actually almost looked like Regina George from the movie 'Mean Girls'.
"Look, just a word of advice. Stay away from James. He is so not your type and plus, you're way out of his league. He loves me and I like him. No one comes in between us. Understood?", she warned.
"Who now?!", I asked, really confused.
Seriously, what was she even talking about? Had she lost her mind or something?! Or was this some 'new kid' joke?! And who on earth is James?!
"Oh b***h, don't act like you don't know. I've seen girls like you. You all are so useless and pathetic and act like the goody-two shoes always. Then you all get the guys. Urgh, b***hes!", she just lashes out at me and walks away, doing a hair flip as well.
