Chapter 8

I turn around and look in his brown eyes. ‘’Heey’’ I answer. Jai sits down next to me. A few classmates who know him, greet him. He is really popular.

'' How are you? I’m Jai by the way.''  He says to me.

Oh,I have to reply.I was busy with staring into his eyes. ’’Uhm, I’m fine.How are you?’’ I ask. ‘’I’m good’’ He says smiling.

Just when I want to ask his number, Zoë walks to us with an angry face.’’Jai! I thought we are going to lunch together.’’ Zoë says angrily. Jai looks surprised.’’ I never promised that’’ Jai says.

Oh no, they have a fight and I’m the reason. ‘’Jai, go lunch with her.’’ I say to stop the fight. ‘’Okay, see you later.’’ Jai says while he stands up. Zoë grabs his arm and pulls him away from me. Jai secretly turns around and winks at me. I smile and gesture to him that he must turn around. He smiles back and turns around.

I feel somebody push in my side. ‘’WHAT’’ I say shocked.”HE LIKES YOU” Alexa and Jennette say in unison. ‘’That’s not true’’ I say blushing.

Suddenly I hear a classmate says:’’ Watch out for Zoë! I know her and if you come near her boyfriend, she can be really mean.’’ I look at her. ‘’How do you know?’’ I ask. She blushs.’’I did that a while ago, when she had another boyfriend. I just wanted to be friends with her boyfriend , but she didn’t want to listen to me. That’s why we aren’t friends anymore.She can be a bitch sometimes.’’ She tells me. ’’So , she is a jealous bitch and she treats her boyfriend like a dog. ‘’ I say. My classmate laughs. ‘’Your name is Rachel, isn’t it? I ask. ‘’Yes,you are right.You are Ariana, the best singer!’’ Rachel says with a wink.I blush. The rest of the school day goes fast.

When I’m home, I check my twitter first. I see that I have a dm. From JAI! Omg, for a second I can’t breath. I controled myself on school, so at home I can fangirl.  I open the dm and read it.

Heey Ariana,sorry for today. But don’t worry, usually Zoë doesn’t act like that.

But yeah, the point is: I want to talk more with you. You seem really nice, so I want to know more about you. So here is my number, so you can always send me a message *Jai number*.

I stare at it for a while. This can’t be true. I have the number of my crush. Shall I text him now?
