Unexpected love (Jai Brooks + Ariana Grande fanfiction)

Chapter 4

~~The day of the talent show ~~

I wake up with a smile on my face. I had another dream about Jai. He was my boyfriend and he said he will never cheat on me because I was his girlfriend for life. But my alarm clock disturbed it. I look at my phone and see that it’s 6 am. Oh, today is the day of the talent show. But I don’t have to stress yet because the talent show begins at 7 pm. But first: School. I sigh and step out of my bed.

When I’m dressed and just start eating my toast, my iphone lights up.

Do you know who's in the jury tonight? Alex! Xx Jennette

Oh no, not Alex. Alex is a classmate, everyone think I like him. Because one time Jennette had sent him a message on my phone like this:

<3 Love you xx Ariana

Jennette and Alexia thought that Alex and I could be a good couple. And nobody believes that Jennette sent that message. And the problem is: He is not handsome, but really nice.I’m not in love with him but sometimes I dream about him. I shake those thoughts away and reply:

Okay, what do you want me to do then? ;) I don’t like him!!

After my toast, I walk to the mirror and sing the song I will sing tonight.My mom walks into my room and claps.’’That was really good, darling’’ she says. I smile and give my mom a hug. ‘’Thank you mom, see you later’’ I say.She hugs me again and whispers: ‘’Bye sweetheart,have fun at school’’ Then she lets me go and I walk down the stairs. I open the front door. Alexia is already there.'' Come on, grab your bike'' she says. ‘’GOODMORNING’’ I shout with sarcasm in my voice. ‘’Oh sorry, goodmorning Ari’’ Alexia says smiling. I quickly grab my bike and together we cycle to school.

During the lessons, I can’t concentrate. I keep thinking about what could happen during the talent show. Jai can be there. His girlfriend can be there. They both can be there. What if I fail and Jai sees that? 

After school I cycle to home fast so I can dress up. I watch on my Iphone. It’s 4 pm. I have 3 hours to dress up and to practice my song. I take a quick shower and put my dress on. It’s a cute little dress, my favourite ( You can see the dress next here ) Then I do my hair in a ponytail with a cute little bow.

Then I watch on the clock. It’s 5.30 am. ‘’MOM, is dinner ready?’’ I shout. ‘’Yess’’ My mom shouts back. I run down the stairs and make the table ready. ‘’Keep calm!’’ my mom says lauging. I look at her angrily.’’I CAN’T!  I shout. It looks like I can only shout. Urg I’m so nervous. After dinner Alexia and Jennette arrive. They are going to ride with my mom and me. I begin to shake. Alexia sees that and holds my hand. ‘’It’s going to be alright’’ She says. When It’s 6.30 am , we go to school.
