Chapter 42

*Ariana Pov*

 ‘’You handle it so good, baby’’ I lay my head on Jai his shoulder. We are sitting on the sidewalk in front of his house.‘’I really wanted to hit Alex. He pisses me off’’ He admits. ‘’Honestly, I thought that you were going to hit him’’ I giggle. Jai laughs too but suddenly his mood changes. ‘’Do you like him?’’ He asks. I raise my eyebrow. Where did that come from?

“You know I love you, right? Jai stays silent. ‘’Do you really think I love him? He is an asshole that needs attention’’ I put my hand on my mouth. I’m not a person that swears much.  Jai laughs.  ‘’I love it when you swear. That proves that you aren’t a little girl’’  I bury my face in his chest, so he can’t see my red cheeks.

 ‘’Jai?? Are you there?’’ A woman, I think Jai’s aunt Sarah, shouts. Jai opens his eyes and turns around. ‘’Yeah, I’m here’’ He stretches his back and try to stand up, but I’m sitting on his lap and I don’t want to move. ‘’Ariana, come on…’’ But he’s too late.  ‘’Hello darling, have we met before?’’ She asks me. I look up and nod. ‘’But Jai didn’t want me to introduce myself then. I’m Ariana Grande.’’  She takes my hand and shakes it.  ‘’I assume that you’re Jai’s girlfriend?’’  She gives me a bright smile. ‘’Yes ma’am’’ I look at Jai, who is staring at me. He shakes his head unwitnessed, so that his aunt can’t see. I raise my eyebrow, but Sarah starts talking again.  ‘’Do you want a cup of tea, darling?’’  She asks in a really sweet voice.  I can’t deny it, but according to Jai’s face….

‘’Sorry Ma’am, it’s really late and I need to go home’’ I lie. It’s not even eleven o’clock in the evening, so I can stay for like 2 hours.  ‘’Okay honey, it’s cold out here so I will be waiting inside for Jai. You can go all sweet and lovey dovey or whatever with eachother now’’ She waves to me and walks inside. I laugh at her use of language till Jai punches me in my side. ‘’Ouch, what’s that for?’’ I whine. ‘’My aunt looks friendly but she is really mean’’ Jai explains.  ‘’Why are you staying at her house then?’’ I ask for clarification. ‘’I don’t know….I love Los Angeles too much…I really can’t leave it and I can’t leave you’’ He kisses my forehead.  ‘’That’s sweet, but you don’t need to stay for me’’ Before Jai can say anything, my phone vibrates.

  WHERE ARE YOU?! WE HAVE BEEN SEARCHING YOU FOR HOURS

  Oh shit. I didn’t tell my friends that I was leaving with Jai.

 I’m with Jai. Sorry guys, I couldn’t stay at the party.

 ‘’I should go home’’ I say. ‘’I need to call my friends.’’  ‘’Alright, see you on Monday. I will pick you up’’  Jai says and hugs me.  I kiss him on his lips and stand up.  ‘’Bye Jai’’  ‘’Bye Ari’’

*Jai Pov*

 ‘’WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL ME ABOUT HER’’ I’m not even 1 minute inside and my aunt is already screaming. I just ignore here and walk upstairs. She pulls me back and slaps me right in the face.  My cheeks were already hurting from the punch from Alex and now they start hurting again. ‘’WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS?!’’  I run to my room and lock it.  Tears are rolling down my cheeks. I miss my brothers, my mom and my nonna. I need them, but I can’t leave Ariana. 

Heey guys, sorry for the long waiting! I have a job now at the KFC lol and my grandma is staying at us for 2 months. 2 MONTHS and guess where she sleeps: In MY ROOM.  That means that I can't write in the evening/ morning.  And I have a idea for a new fanfic.  I can't choose between: Beau, Ashton Irwin or Niall Horan for my new fanfic. It will be calling: Till the Death or Forever and Always. I can't choose! Please comment what you think is better and tell me if you want me to start it :)
