Unexpected love (Jai Brooks + Ariana Grande fanfiction)

Chapter 21

Heey guys :). I just want to change a few things.In the introduce I said that Ariana was 14 years old. But I want to change that into 17 & Jai is 18. I hope you guys don't mind. Please comment & vote.

*Jai pov*

I love the way how Ariana squeezes my hand. It gives me the feeling like I’m the only one who can protect her. I squeeze her hand back and she gives me a lovely smile.

 ~2 hours later~

‘’My legs are hurting’’ I say and look at Ariana with a puppy face. She giggles. ‘’ we have seen all animals now, right?’’ Ariana asks and I nod. ‘’We can sit & eat in the little restaurant outside the zoo.’’ I suggest. ‘’I’m okay with that, I’m hungry’’ Ariana says and her stomach growls. Her cheeks are turning red and I laugh. ‘’You are cute, you know that?’’ I whisper in her ear. ‘’Can we just go to the restaurant?’’ Ariana says embarrassed.  I smile.

‘’J-J-Jai??’’ Ariana stutters. I follow her eyes and freeze. ‘’So helloo guys’’ Zoë greets us. ‘’Taking your new girlfriend on a date?’’ Zoë asks me. ‘’Go to your new boyfriend.’’ I growl at her. Ariana holds my hand tight and squeeze it. ‘’Do you want me to go?’’ Ariana whispers in my ear. I shake my head.

‘’Which one? I dumped him yesterday, he isn’t a good kisser.’’ Zoë says with a big smile. My jaw drops. ‘’Suprised? You shouldn’t be.’’ She says. ‘’Whore’’ Ariana whispers but Zoë hears it. ‘’What did you called me?’’ Zoë says angrily. ‘’You heard me’’ Ariana replies. ‘’Calm down, just ignore her’’ I say, squeezing Ariana’s hand, but Ariana lets my hand go.

‘’She came to my house yesterday! She wants you back, Jai!’’ She shouts to me. I see tears in her eyes, so I grab her wrist and look into her eyes. ‘’But I don’t want her back,I want you.’’ 

I kneel in front of her. ‘’Ariana Grande, do you want to be my girlfriend?’’ I say and open the little box I had in my  pocket. Ariana’s jaw drops. ‘’Yes Jai, YES!’’ She says and hugs me. ‘’Come here, I will help you.’’ I say and grab the bracelet. I wrap the bracelet around her wrist and gives her a kiss on the cheek. ‘’I’m still here’’ Zoë says with a strange tone. I turn around and wait.

‘’I’m sorry that I ruined your moment. I’m just jealous. I’m so sorry.’’ Zoë tells us and walks closer to us. ‘’Can we trust you?’’ I say and I pull Ariana closer to me. ‘’Yes, but I will understand if you can’t trust me.I did so many mean things to you both, but I won’t do them again.’’

She turns to me. ‘’I’m sorry for using you. I don’t know what I was thinking. You are an amazing boy and you really cared about me. And you Ariana.’’ Zoë turns to Ariana. ‘’You deserve this boy. You are a sweet person and you are right,I’m a whore.’’  A tear rolls down Zoë’s cheek. Ariana swats my arm away and gives Zoë a hug. ‘’Sorry for calling you a whore. You are amazing. I forgive you everything’’ Ariana says with a soft voice. ‘’Come on, let’s go to the restaurant. Zoë, you can go with us if you want.’’ I mumble. I don’t trust Zoë, but life must go on. ‘’Sure!’’ Zoë smiles and take Ariana’s hand. I put my arm around Ariana’s waist and we walk to the exit.
