Unexpected love (Jai Brooks + Ariana Grande fanfiction)

Chapter 37

*Luke Pov*

Jai always get the prettiest girls. I haven’t had a girlfriend for years. I don’t know what is wrong with me. Even Beau had a few girlfriends in the last years.

‘’Are you okay bro?’’  Beau asks me. I nod and stand up. ‘’I’m downstairs if you need me’’ I mumble and go downstairs. Ariana’s voice is on repeat in my head. I can’t think about anything else. I shuffle to the kitchen to find something to eat. But as usual, there is nothing.  ‘’Beau, I’m going to get some food!’’ I yell, hoping that Beau heard me.  ‘’Alright, get some chicken for me!’’ He yells back. I grab the money, that mum has put on the kitchen counter and go outside.

*Jai Pov*

‘’You don’t need to go home’’ I whisper in Ariana’s ear. She giggles and shakes her head. ‘’I can’t stay’’ She replies softly. I wrap my arm tight around her waist. ‘’Try to leave then’’ I say playfully. Ariana wiggles roughly, but I don’t let her go. ‘’Jai…please’’ She begs when she realises that I don’t want her to go.

 ‘’Alrigh then’’ I kiss her cheek and let her go. ‘’Thank you’’ She wraps her arms around my neck and kisses me. I press my tongue against her lips till she opens her mouth. Immediately my tongue finds her tongue.  A few minutes later she breaks the kiss. ‘’I need to go” She whispers shyly. ‘’I know’’ I reply and grab her hand. I lead her downstairs and to the door. ‘’I will see you tomorrow then at school?’’ I ask and she nods.’’I love you’’ I kiss her on her forehead. ‘’I love you too’’ She says and then leaves. 

 *Luke Pov*

 After 16 minutes walking, I finally enter the KFC. There isn’t a long queue, so it’s quickly my turn. ‘’Can I help you?’’ A girl, not older than 20, asks me. ‘’Yes, can I have the  Family Burger Box, please?’’ I order. She nods and stares at me for 10 seconds before she taps on her screen. ‘’Anything else?’’ I shake my head. ‘’Then its $24.95’’ I give her the money and she quickly returns the change. ‘’ Eat here or take away?’’ The girl asks. ‘’Take away’’ I answer and lean against the wall. The girl blushes and leaves to pick my food. While I’m waiting, a girl ,who looks like Ariana but with black hair,  arrives and stands behind me. She looks a little drunk but damm, she looks exactly like Ariana. ‘’What are you watching, cunt!’’ She yells at me and I turn my head away.  The checkout girl gives me my food and I thank her. I turn around to walk away, but I take one last look at the drunk girl who is now standing at the checkout. She doesn’t look like Ariana at all. She has black short hair and blue eyes. I walk to the exit. Why did I imagine her like Ariana? What is wrong with me?

 *Jai Pov*

 While I’m laying on my bed, I think about our date on Sunday. I realise then that I didn’t take Ariana to the pool yesterday, like I promised her. So I text her:

 I promised you that I will take you to the pool. Are you in for a pool date on Saturday?

 Not even 1 minute later she replies:

  Ofcourse! Are you in for Alex’ party? It’s on Friday.

 Alex’ party? He was nice yesterday soo I will go. And I won’t let Ariana go alone.

 Okay babe! See you tomorrow at school xx

 I tap the send button and immediately I get another message. Damm, she is fast.
