Chapter Seven..........My SoS

------------------------> Parker!

I sat in my new apartment and smiled as Harley enjoyed the space. She had more room and still protective as all get out. I was polishing my guitars when someone knocked on my door. Harley started to bark and growl at the door. I looked through the peep hole and smiled.

"Hey Parker!" I smiled as I kissed my boyfriend. It had only been a few weeks, but things were going well. He was going with me to my open mic.

"You're not ready!" He laughed as he hugged me.

"It doesn't take me long!" I smile and looked my Wonder Woman pjs.

"Go change." He shook his head as I walked off.

I was in my room looking at my choices when I thought about what Megan had told me. That Josh had asked Amanda to go to the open mic with him. I hated the idea of her being there. I grabbed my blue sleeveless animal print dress with an asymmetrical hem and grabbed my blue echo platform pumps. As soon as I was changed I walked out and showed Parker.

"Wow, you look amazing." He smiled as he kissed me.

"We should go. I'm meeting the girls before I go on." I smiled.

"You're gonna knock everyone dead." He promised as he grabbed my guitar and amp.

Once we arrived at the bar, I was engulfed in hugs by Megan, Katrina, Danica, Mike, Matt and Ian. I laughed as I got passed around then let go.

"I love that dress! So perfect for you." Megan smiled.

"Thank you. Is Josh here?" I asked, wondering if the she-bitch from hell was there.

"Not yet. Amanda is making him late." Mike sighed as we all sat down.

"I want you all to meet Parker." I smiled as he pulled my chair out. Everyone said their hellos and gave their names as he sat down.

"Emery talks about you all. Ever since she started working at the station she boasts about all of her friends. I see why she adores you all." He smiled.

"Talking us up I see." Ian laughed as he hugged Danica.

"Like you fuckers need my help?" I laughed as the bar manager walked over.

"Who here is Emery Tork?" He looked at all of us and I waved.

"You're on last. Short line up tonight. Make sure you're ready." He said as he walked off.

"Rude much?" Danica laughed.

"So you like the new job?" Matt asked, sipping a beer.

"Yea. It's better then the bar. I still work on my stuff, but not as much as I'd like." I hated not talking too or seeing Josh.

It was around 11 when Josh showed up, right when I was about to go on. I was getting ready when the manager gave me an introduction.

"And last we have Emery Tork." He walked off and I shook my head.

"Hey there. So this is my first real open mic, so please bare with me." I laughed as I started to play something new.

Trust me they were there but but now the well is run dry

I was in so deep I couldn't get out
