Chapter 17.........the party

I stood behind the curtain and tried to calm my breathing. I knew once I got on stage I would be ok. It was just before the lights hit me that was getting to me. It was a strange feeling. I knew Josh was in the crowd, Pierre was there so was my grandfather. I was unsure how the night would go.

"We're excited to introduce a new artist to you all tonight. She is a powerhouse and has a lot to say. Let's hear it for Emery Tork!!!" the head of the label was very happy to have signed me, but I knew that meant expectations I had to live up too. This was the first one.

"Hello every one! I'm Emery!! We're gonna just kick right in!" I laughed as I started to play I Am Me.

I rocked out as I sang the song, having my fun and watching Josh and Pierre smiling at me. I kicked into Haters and SOS after I Am Me. I got a quick changed and sang When Your Gone
