Your P.O.V.
The sweet smell of coffee filled my nostrils, make me smile. People were shuffling in and out of the little shop, most sending me warm smiles that I gladly returned. One of my favorite things about this place was the people. I rarely liked strangers, but everyone here was genuine, and I loved that.
I sipped my drink, scanning over what I had drawn so far. Last night, I had a dream about a girl with beautiful brown eyes. They were absolutely enchanting. The rest of her was a masterpiece as well. Long, chocolate hair flowed down her shoulders, sculpted eyebrows above her eyes, an adorable nose under that, and pink, plump lips.
In my dream, she looked at me as if I was the Eighth Wonder of the World. No one has ever looked at me like that before. But it wasn't real, and that's what hurt the most.
Looking at her eyes, I sighed, biting gently on my pencil. I couldn't quite capture the intensity in them, but I don't think anyone could. "Good morning, Y/N." I looked up, seeing Mani smiling at me.
I smiled back, standing up and hugging her. After a good squeeze, she pulled away, glancing at my drawing, eyebrows drawn together. "Who's that?"
I blushed, quickly shutting the notebook. "No one."
She raised her eyebrow, glancing back down at the closed book. "That looks like someone I know. Huh." Mani smirked, shaking her head. "Whatever you say. Tell me when you're done with your drink, I'll get you another."
I nodded, gratefully pecking her cheek. "Thanks, Manibear." She flashed me another grin, before walking off behind the counter.
I sat back down, reopening my notebook. I began to draw her hair, letting it frame her beautiful face. I then finished the rest of her face, shocked at how accurate it looked. It was like she was etched in my brain.
I took another swig of the amazing beverage, outlining her shoulders and torso. Her body was breathtaking, as well. Perky breasts, toned arms, gorgeous hands, amazing abs, sexy legs, plump ass. She was...unreal.
Maybe she actually wasn't a real person.
"Here ya are." I jumped, startled by the sudden presence beside me.
"Jesus fuck, Mani. You scared me."
She laughed, yelling "Sorry!" As she ran back behind the counter. This girl, I swear to god. Mani took my empty cup for me, and I screamed a, "Thank you," Getting a "You're welcome!" In return.
Just as I was about to finish her upper body, my phone lit up and buzzed. It was from Lauren.
Lolo😍: Hey, loser. Answer your fucking phone.
I laughed, realizing I had 5 missed calls from her. Clicking her name, I held my phone up to my ear. "Dude, you need to pick up your phone, Jesus Christ."
I rolled my eyes. "Chill. You know not to interrupt my mornings."
She scoffed. "Yeah, well you obviously forgot that we're going to our concert tonight, so..."
My eyes widened, her words making me jump out of my seat. "Shit, I did forget. What time is it?"
"Noon. It starts at 7, and we need to hit the road by 5." I shoved my stuff in my backpack, tossing it over my shoulder. Lauren and I had both saved up enough money to buy 2 tickets to the 1975 concert. We've been waiting for literally 2 months, excited as hell. She's been to a concert of theirs twice already, while this one would be my first.
