Lauren's P.O.V. (lol first time)

Mumbling tiredly into the soft fabric of the pillow, I reached for my girlfriend, frowning when my fingers were met with cold.

Huffing, I slowly sat up from bed, a shiver shooting through my bare body at the chilly air. "Fucking winter."

Yanking one of Y/N's hoodies on, I wrapped a blanket around myself before padding downstairs, in search of her.

"Y/N?" I called, walking around the corner into the empty kitchen, scrunching my eyebrows together in confusion.

Where was she?

In the momentary silence, I picked up soft music, immediately making my way towards the sounds.

Smiling at the familiar song, I paused outside of our studio, watching and listening as my beautiful girlfriend sang.

Taking in her appearance, my heart melted at how gorgeous she looked, especially after waking. Her hair was a mess, thrown up into a bun on the top of her head, torso clad in my Jauregui pullover, natural eyelashes fanning along her cheekbones.

Walking up, I gently wrapped my arms around her shoulders, kissing the back of her neck as I sang my verse.

Resting my chin on the top of her head, I nuzzled my nose into the crook of her neck, grinning against her skin when she giggled.

Marveling in her soft, smooth voice, I let her finish without interruption. She rarely sang, but when she did, it made me happier than anything. She was so so beautiful, especially now, raw and unshielded.

Y/N laughed, spinning around on the bench to bring me into a hug.

"I love you, so much. Especially with no filter."

My girlfriend burst into a fit of giggles, showing off her pretty teeth. "Why am I dating the nerdiest person ever?"

I shrugged, kissing her softly. "Don't know, but I do know how happy you've made me by opening your heart and letting me inside it."

A gentle smile stretched along her rosy lips, bringing me in for another kiss. "I love you, more than anything. You've taken care of my heart so well, and for that I'm so thankful."

Brushing away the few tears that escaped her beautiful eyes, I pecked her forehead, hugging her tighter than ever. "I love you, amore. You deserve all the happiness in the world, and I'm more than honored to help give that to you."

"You are that for me, Lauren."

I laughed happily, adjusting to sit down beside her, listening as she sang her mending heart out, basking in all the beauty that she is.
