"Keana, hey!" I grinned, hugging the pretty brunette, who quickly returned the gesture. Lauren stepped away from the both of us, sending her friend a toothless smile, watching Keana's hands, which were resting on my lower back.

Lauren hated when I hung out with her alone, thinking she'd make a move. She didn't like me or anything, I'm sure. Just being friendly, is all.

"Hi, Y/N! You look...wow, great."

My cheeks reddened slightly, releasing the girl, stepping back a bit. "Uh, um...t-thanks. You always look great."

Lauren locked her jaw, slipping her arms around my waist from behind to pull me into her chest. Hands tightening on my hips, I inhaled sharply, cold fingertips going under my shirt.

"Oh, Lauren, hi! I didn't even see you there."

My girlfriend hummed, usual emerald eyes hardening to a deep grey. "Keana. Always so...great to see you."

I nudged her discreetly, earning a pinch on my backside. "Stop, Lauren." I mumbled, low enough for only her to hear.

"She's eye-fucking you, Y/N, and that's a problem. You're mine." She growled, mostly letting me go, keeping one arm around my hips, Keana beginning to grow visibly annoyed by our intimacy.

She cleared her throat, once again meeting my gaze. "So, you ready to go to dinner?"

Nodding, I slipped out of the Cuban's embrace, turning to kiss her sweetly. "Calm down, okay?"

Lauren tightened her jaw, cupping my cheeks to kiss me hard, a low moan erupting from my throat, tugging softly on her lip after pulling away.

She smirked over my shoulder, pecking my swollen lips once more before walking away to the Olive Garden a few doors down, opening the door. "You two coming?"

I blinked, still trying to suck oxygen into my lungs. "Uh, I'm sorry about her. She's really...possessive." I laughed awkwardly, noticing the forced smile on my friend's face.

"It's fine. We should get going, it's almost 7." Nodding, Keana took my arm, dragging me off to the door, thanking Lauren quickly, who glared at our linked arms.

Let's hope this goes well.

"Hi, table for 3?" The tall man smiled at us, grabbing a pair of menus before guiding us to a booth near the back.

It was quite crowded, though I didn't expect anything less on a Saturday night. I was kind of glad that it was; sometimes being with Keana felt uncomfortable. Not that she made me feel that way, but the conversations were always dry.

She's still a good friend.

"Enjoy." I shot a smile at the guy, not bothering to pick up the menu. Every time I came I got the same thing, Peach Iced Tea and the Baked Ziti. Honestly, their food tastes like heaven.
