Your P.O.V.

"Y/N!" I sighed, standing up from my bed and walking into my brother's room. He was laying on his bed, doing something on his laptop.

"What?" I yelled, annoyed at his constant whining.

"Come with me to this café. They're hiring, and it seems like a cool place. I need to drop off my résumé." Our dad was pressuring him about getting a job, since he dropped out of college and is living with us.

I didn't care, I loved having him here to hang out with. If he weren't here, I'd be by myself all the time. Him getting a job would get him out of the house, but it'll be good for him.

Plus he'll be making money.

I leaned against the door frame, tousling my hair. "Will you buy me food if I go?"

He nodded, rolling his eyes. "That's always your aim. Free food."

I laughed, snapping my fingers at him. "You know it. I'll be ready in 5." Walking back into my room, I slipped on a slouchy button up and my Vans, already wearing leggings. After brushing my teeth and fixing up my hair, I grabbed my phone and my bag, going downstairs.

"About time."

I poked my tongue out at him, both of us walking out the door. "Can I drive?"

James tossed me the keys, laughing as I caught them. "Just don't crash."

After a quick victory dance, I slipped in the driver's seat, starting the engine. I was a newbie at driving, having receiving my license only 2 months ago.

Not that I was bad at driving, just not...advanced.

About 5 minutes later, we pulled up at a cool looking place. I parked beside it, locking the doors and shoving the keys in my pocket. We moved towards the front, our jaws dropping at the sight.

Mine did, anyway.

The place was called 'Passion', a beautiful sign with the name right above the door. Lanterns hung around from the edges of the building and the outside seating areas, accompanied by various chairs, flowers, and other accessories. The doors were decorated with an Aztec design, giving it a cultural feel.

"Holy shit. This place is awesome." James spoke after a moment, going forwards to hold the door open for me.

"I know, right? Shit, I'd work here." I laughed, walking inside, unprepared for what I was about to see.

The inside was even better. Large, slightly tinted windows were on each side, dark colored couches lining the walls. Beautiful glass tables were everywhere, different cups and mugs sitting on them. Tapestries of various designs and colors hung everywhere, even the ceiling. There was an upstairs, the steps decorated with dim lights. To the far right was the bar, tall seats in front it. Just to the left of that, was a decent sized stage, with various instruments, a mic, and a stool.

"This place is amazing." People sent us warm smiles as we entered, the two of us surprised at how genuine they were.

Damn. I think I'll be coming here more often.
