Your P.O.V.

Sunlight beamed into my room, making me groan and stick my head in the soft pillow. Cold air brushed along my shoulders, yanking the blankets further up my body.

Why did I decide to sleep naked?

After a few minutes, I finally sat up, stretching out my sore limbs. Jogging at 4 in the morning probably wasn't the best idea, either. I glanced at my clock, the time reading 6:38pm. God damn.

Standing up from my bed, I walked into my bathroom, flicking the lights on. I let my eyes adjust to the bright lights before glancing in the mirror, I cringed at how awful I looked.

God, who let this monster out of the closet.

After a good, refreshing shower, I wandered in my closet, grabbing a slouchy maroon button-up, leggings, and my boots. I put those on after my underwear and bra, brushing my teeth and fixing up my hair.

When I was done, I grabbed my phone and my bag, exiting my house. My brother was already at work, the other probably out with friends. It's not like it really matters, they know where I'm going. Plugging my earbuds in, I began my walk. The cool morning breeze brushed my hair over my shoulders, making me smile slightly.

Another day.

"Y/N, hey!" Camila hugged me, giving me a quick peck on my cheek. She looked adorable as always, with her apron and hair pulled away from her face.

"Hey, Mila. Can I have my usual? I'm on in about 15 minutes." The long-haired girl nodded, before running off behind the counter to make my drink.

Every Friday evening, I performed a little something at this little coffeehouse. It gave me a chance to actually do something with my life. Besides, it was genuinely fun.

"Here ya go. Good luck tonight, even though you don't need it." I laughed, thanking the Cuban as she went to tend to other customers. Scrolling through Tumblr, I reblogged and liked some posts, almost dropping my phone when someone called my name.

"Please welcome, a favorite of yours and mine, Y/F/N!" I stood up quickly, making my way to the small stage. A few people clapped as I set up my guitar and mic, making me smile widely. I nervously settled in the stool, swinging the guitar over my head and adjusting it on my shoulder.

I spotted blonde-brown haired girl a little to the right of where I sat, staring intently at me. She wore little black shorts and a black pullover with white Converse. Her eyes were a beautiful brown, lips pink and full, eyebrows sculpted, nose cute.

People were beginning to notice my presence, a small grin on my face. "Hey, everyone." I spoke into the microphone, even more facing turning. "Um, hi. My name is Y/F/N. How are you all doing today?" I got a few responses, which made me smile wider. "So, um, I'm gonna play a song for you. It's instrumental, 'cause I can't sing to save my life, but yeah."

A few laughed at my awful joke, making me laugh with them. The girl smiled, making my nerves go crazy. God, why did I have to notice her? "Here we go. I hope you enjoy." I resumed to play the song, my hands taking control.

She is something to behold,
Elegant and bold.
She is electricity,
Running to my soul.

I hummed into the mic as my fingers plucked the strings, left hand alternating smoothly between the chords. More people had began listening to me, until the whole place was quiet except for my instrument.

And I could easily lose my mind,
The way you kiss me a work each time.
Calling me to come back to bed,
Singing Georgia on my mind.

I faltered a bit when a gorgeous voice started to sing the lyrics, my eyes landing on the figure of the short blonde-brunette. She was smiling warmly at me, a light blush dusting my cheeks.

And I...
And I...

She rested her elbow on my shoulder, leaning into my side while effortlessly hitting the notes. I was extremely impressed by her vocal skills, beginning to lose focus a bit.

Lips generous and warm,
You build me up like steps,
Eyes innocent and wild,
Remind me what it's like.

Camila was jumping up and down like a child on a sugar rush, fanning herself as she watched the two of us perform. Lauren, Normani and Dinah, my 3 other crazy best friends, were all sitting at one table, cheering loudly for me, which made me smile wider if that were even possible.

And I could easily lose my mind,
The way you kiss me a work each time.
Pulling me back into the flames,
And I'm burning up again,
I'm burning up.

And I, I never understood what was at stake,
I never thought your love was worth it's wait.
Well now you've come and gone,
I finally worked it out,
I worked it out.

As the bridge came up, the girl beside me held the mic between us, motioning for me to sing, but I quickly shook my bad. She pouted adorably, singing it alone.

I never should have told you,
I never should have let you see inside,
Don't want it troubling your mind,
Won't you let it be.

My solo came up, closing my eyes as the music rang deep in my soul. This is what I loved. I always have, and I always will.

And I could easily lose my mind,
The way you kiss me a work each time.
Pulling me back into the flames,
And I'm burning up again,
I'm burning up.

And I, I never understood what was at stake,
I never thought your love was worth it's wait.
Well now you've come and gone,
I finally worked it out,
I worked it out.

With one last pluck of the strings, the song ended, roads immediately filling the café. Majority of the people stood up, clapping loudly for our performance. Standing up, I draped an arm around the girl's shoulders, the pair of us bowing at the crowd and thanking them after the noise died down.

"Ally." I snapped my head in her direction, heart melting at the cutest smile on her face.

"Y/N."

"Well, Y/N, nice to meet you. I know you're not too big on singing, but I bet I could make you hit all the high notes." Ally wiggled her brows, making me bust out into laughter.

"Good one, Ally. Good one."
