Your P.O.V.

I woke up with a start, the loud ringing of my phone echoing through the house. I sighed tiredly, hearing the cries of my 7 month old daughter from her crib upstairs.

"Hello?" I yawned, not bothering to check the caller ID. I stood up from the couch, making my way upstairs with the electronic device tucked between my ear and shoulder.

"Baby? I'm sorry, did I wake you?"

"Hi, Laur. No, it's okay. I needed to wake up anyway." Opening up the door to her bedroom, I walked over to the wailing child, picking her small body up into my arms.

Grace opened her bright, watery green eyes, wrapping her hand around my finger. Gently wiping her tears away, I rocked her back and forth, kissing her forehead softly.

She was a beautiful mix of both of us, with Lauren's emerald eyes and her full lips, a combination of our skin tones and hair, as well as my nose. Grace gets grumpy and sassy like Lauren, lazy and cute like me.

She was the most precious little girl Lauren and I could've ever hoped for.

Setting my phone on the bedside table I put Lauren on speaker, knowing full well she could hear the cries of our daughter. "Don't cry, little one. Your mommies love you, okay?" Lauren cooed, Grace almost quieting down completely.

"There we go, honey." Grace giggled at the funny face I made at her, poking at my face. Pecking all over her cheeks while she laughed louder, I picked up the phone again, taking off speaker.

"You calm her down so well, Y/N. Mom goals."

Rolling my eyes, I smiled regardless. "Shut up, Lauren."

Grace's grip loosened on my finger after a little while of me and Lauren conversing, her quiet yawn filling my ears. "Baby, gotta put Grace to sleep. I'll call you later, okay?"

"Okay, wifey. I love you, and our little princess."

I laughed, glancing down at the now sleeping baby in my arms. "We love you too, Laur. Talk to you soon. Bye, baby."

"Bye, love."

Hanging up the phone, I shoved it in my back pocket, laying Grace gently into her carriage. Lauren had been gone on tour since I had the baby and hasn't seen our daughter very much. So, I decided to surprise her.

I called Camila, asking her to send a car for us to meet them at the Today Show. It was a big performance for them, singing Work From Home and a few other songs. Even though the Cuban was awful at keeping secrets, I trusted her to keep this one.

Grabbing the bag full of Grace's things and my own purse, I headed outside and into the vehicle that was waiting for us, making sure that Grace had a uninterrupted nap. She would be up all night once the girls got a hold of her.

What can I say, she's irresistibly cute.

"Shh, Mila! You'll wake her up!"

The Cuban pouted childishly, waiting for Grace to wake up so she could play with her. Camila always managed to make her laugh, along with Dinah. Ally and Normani loved to bake with Grace, which ended up in the three of them covered in flour and batter.
