Epilogue
Raven was hiding herself in the farthest and darkest corner of her cell. Dark circles around her eyes. She had no sleep these past days. The slightest movement can trigger her paranoia.
The medics would try to drug her but it had no effect. They tried feeding her but she would not budge. They tried insisting Drake to talk to her, but he wouldn't show up and he'd know she wouldn't listen to him. She even tried killing herself to stop her agonizing pain.
The roll of laughter filled her cell. She was still quivering and her heart pounded faster and faster.
"Boo," Rebecca whispered as she appeared in front of a curled up Raven, her face only inches away from her.
Her heart skipped a beat or two, but she couldn't scream, she had already lost her voice and all she could do was cry in fear.
No one would believe her, no one. She tried explaining, tried not to sound crazy, but no one believed her. She was, a matter of fact, in a mental institute.
Rebecca laughed a victorious evil laugh.
She tightly closed her eyes, tears still streaming down. If she wanted to live in this world, she'd rather live blind.
"Poor, poor Raven," Rebecca said stroking her head. "You should've just picked to die and all of this pain wouldn't be so agonizing. You took everything I have, even Drake. So I decided to let your suffer. Isn't it fun?" she said in her sweet tone then giggled.
Raven couldn't help herself but cry even harder.
"Ssshh now, calm down. At least its fair. You took him away from me, so I'm taking away from you too. I wonder how could --"
"You lay one finger on him you bitch and you will regret it!" she exclaimed standing up, realizing she still had her voice.
Rebecca laughed. "Try me," she said and gripped her neck so tight, her faced directly flushed. She lifted Raven up into the air.
Raven started chocking and Rebecca let out her long tongue. It started tracing Raven's face and went into her ear then went back out. It slowly traced her temple and move towards the corner of her eyes.
Rebecca was tingling and wanted to kill Raven already, but this isn't part of the plan. She let her tongue dig deep into the corner of her eye. Raven screamed and wriggled in pain. She could feel the tongue in her head, slowly pushing it's way out to the other eye.
Rebecca closed her eyes and smiled delight as she felt fresh insides of her sister.
The door suddenly unlocked and Rebecca swiftly retrieved her tongue and let Raven fall to the ground.
"Consider this a favor that you are still alive," she hissed then disappeared.
She curled herself, coughing and groaning in pain. The door slid open and the medics hurriedly went towards her.
Aaron was the new assistant of a night guard at the mental institute. His job was to watch the monitors, each having their own camera view; from outside, the front desk, the hallways and even each cellar. Bill, the night guard, was at the kitchen getting them both coffee for the night.
Aaron leaned back in the leather chair and placed his feet on the table. Bill walked in the room holding two mugs of coffee.
"Feet off the table son," he said in his Texas accent. Bill was in his mid-forties, and had been working in the institution for twenty years.
