I once was reading a fanfic(not gonna name any names). It was really good, and I was really into it, but then, one day, the author stopped updating. She said she "wasn't feeling it anymore", and she discontinued the story. I was really bummed out, and I promised myself that I would never do that to my readers. NEVER.
And I'm not going to do that to you. As hard as it is, I am going to finish this story, whether it takes me months or years, I will do it. Because as terrible and evil as I am, I'm not a soul-crushing demon. And no matter how many excuses I make, or how many exams teachers can throw at me, I am not going to break that promise. Because I love you, reader. Even though I may not know who you are, your support, all the upvotes, comments, or even just reads, they mean the world to me. I just want to say thank you so much for bearing with me, and I'll update as much and as soon as possible.
So, no, I'm not abandoning you. I'm not an evil demon monster witch. You know who you are.
