Two hours of school passed on quickly. I got more hate notes for this Facebook thing. I still had to check and see what was happening. I ought to do that once I got home. Right now, I was off to go meet Louis at the restaurant.

I skipped across the street and walked inside. Louis was sat at a table with the two guys I had seen earlier in the week and a girl.

Louis immediately saw me and waved me over. I walked over and sat in the seat at the end of the table, next to Louis.

“Hi!” I said, excited to see him again.

“Sophia, I want to introduce you to some of my friends.” Louis smiled. “This is Harry.” He pointed to the guy with green eyes. “This is Niall.” Louis pointed to the guy with blonde hair and blue eyes. “And this is Ashlyn, Niall’s girlfriend.” Louis explained.

They all gave me a smile before shaking my hand. “Nice to meet you, Sophia.” Harry said.

“Yeah, Louis wouldn’t stop talking about you.” Niall told me.

I grinned at the fact that Louis was telling his friends about me. Louis seemed angry with Niall that he had told me that. I giggled as it was clearly obvious that Louis had kicked Niall’s leg underneath the table.

“So, Sophia, you go to the school up the hill?” Ashlyn asked me, making small talk.

“Yes, I do. I’m a senior there.” I smiled softly.

“Cool!” Ashlyn responded.

I noticed that she didn’t have an accent like the rest of them did. Ashlyn sounded as if she were from America.

“Where are you all from?” I asked.

“I’m from Mullingar in Ireland.” Niall said with pride.

“I’m from Cheshire in England.” Harry simply stated.

“And I’m from Doncaster.” Louis took a sip from his soda. “In England.”

I smiled considering that they were from such amazing places and I was from this boring town in California. It was pretty here, don’t get me wrong. The mountains are beautiful, but there is nothing to do overall in the town.

“If you feel lame, don’t. I’m from New Jersey.” Ashlyn slightly chuckled.

At least I wasn’t the only one who felt like they were from an uninteresting place.  I chuckled along with her.

“You’re all from different places. How do you know each other?” I asked. Their connections did confuse me.

Harry cleared his throat and answered the question. “I met Niall and Louis in a pub in London.”

“I was visiting London at the time.” Niall clarified.

“I was looking around for a job because I couldn’t find one in my hometown.” Louis said.

“I go to London all the time, but anyways, we met there and after we became best friends, we decided one day to go on a trip to America considering none of us had ever been here.” Harry explained. “We visited the major cities like New York which is where Niall met Ashlyn a few years ago.”

Oh. I understood after that. Everyone was just in the right place at the right time. That is actually incredible to think about.

“We came around this town a while back and thought it was amazing. We all moved out here together and here we are.” Louis smiled.

“Wow.” I was in shock. They just picked up and moved.

They all chuckled at my astonished face.
