I wake up in a bed. Don't really know where. I twist my head a bit. Rows of beds are on either side of me. And just two beds over I see a sight I never ever, ever expected to see.

Just two beds over, Percy Jackson is in a coma and Annabeth's crying. Both of these things just strike me as incredibly odd and unbelievable. I mean first off, the great Percy Jackson's in a freaking coma. Secondly, Annabeth - yes, the Annabeth - is crying.

I moan as a shock of pain tears down my spine. Ugh, it sucks. Someone from the Apollo cabin comes and sits nest to me and tells me to drink something. I take a sip, a little wary of the substance. But it tastes like Grandma Kathy's apple crumble. It makes me feel warm and comfortable in myself.

"Can I have some more?" I ask.

"No," the person responds.

I turn to get a better look at them. "Why-" I start to ask. Then I notice who it is. "Ty?"

He smirks and says, "yeah. Cool huh? Apparently I've got the healing gift too. Anyways if you have anymore nectar you'll combust and disintegrate and no one really wants that too happen."

Finally I get over my surprise at seeing Ty and return to more pressing matters. "What happened to Percy."

Ty's expression sobers. "What do you remember of Capture the Flag?"

"Being overconfident then getting knocked out," I confess.

He raises his eyebrows at the whole 'overconfident' part, but than starts to explain what happened afterwards...

"You and some of your cabin mates got knocked out by a bunch of rogue demigods. No ones too clear on the details. Anyways Annabeth heard the fighting and she knew it wasn't the regular kind. There was a lot more screaming. So her and Percy came back and with the rest of the camp and Chiron's help they trapped the demigods. But not before one of them got a shot at Percy. It must've been a poisoned blade. The water hasn't healed him. And if we give him anymore ambrosia or nectar he'll most likely die. So no one really knows what to do anymore."

I look over at Annabeth again. Now she's lying down beside Percy. I can still see her shaking. A girl with spiky black hair with blue highlights and eyes to match rubs Annabeth's back. I can't imagine what she's going through. Than a horrible thought occurs to me.

"Is Percy... Dead?" I whisper the last word so even Ty can hardly hear me.

"Oh no!" he exclaims. I breathe a heavy sigh of relief. "Oh thank - the gods," I remember.

Than I notice the girl with the black hair walking past the fool of my bed. I turn to look at Annabeth and Percy again. But I can't see them. A curtain's been drawn. I smile sadly. Percy and Annabeth really haven't had the easiest relationship, with either of them getting almost killed every other week. They deserve all the privacy they can get.

"Goodnight," whispers Ty as he draws my curtains.

"Night," I whisper back.
