"Annabeth." I want to scream the door down. But let's be honest, Chloe and Brent would totally hear me. "Chloe came out with Brent!"
Three seconds later Annabeth whips open the bathroom door and I can see the shimmering mist still clinging to the walls. "She finally came out?"
"Yeah, come on!" I throw her a bagel to eat and we sprint in the direction that Ty disappeared in.
Sipping around a corner I can see Sky and Ty hopping in a cab. Annabeth promptly walks out onto the street. A cab stops inches away from her. We both climb in and order the cabbie to follow Sky and Ty.
Then I call Sky, "Hey, it's Autumn. Where are you guys headed?"
"Airport," she replies. I hang up.
I lean over the front seat. "Could you just take us to the airport?" He grunts in response. Taking it as a yes. "Thanks!"
We end up directly behind Sky and Ty anyway, so really directions hadn't mattered. We all race into the airport and quickly spot Brent and Chloe standing in a West Jet line. A couple moves to get in line behind them. Perfect.
"You guys stay here," I tell my friends as I quickly get in line after the couple. Soon I hear,
"Two tickets to New Orleans, please." That's all I needed to know. I step out of line as casually as possible and walk back to my friends. "How do you guys feel about New Orleans?"
Annabeth just grins.
********ooh the DAM time skip*********
"Wait, how do you propose we get there?" Sky asks, confused.
"Centaurs. There are always a couple of Party Ponies hanging around Hollywood, and once we mention we're from camp, they'll probably give us a ride," explains Annabeth.
I raise my eyebrows a little, but who am I to question Athena's favourite daughter? So instead I just say, "Okay, let's go find those Party Ponies."
**********Rad Passage of Time*********
We found the Party Ponies screaming their throats raw in a basement of a pub. A couple were dancing on the table and pushing each other off at the same time. Some others were in a water balloon fight. And yet others were playing darts.
"Um, excuse me?" Annabeth climbs on a table to ask.
I find the switch and flip it to shut off the music.
Annabeth screams, "CAN I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE?"
They shut up.
"We need to get to New Orleans. We're from Camp Half Blood. Chiron's our activities director."
"Shouldn't we pay Murray a visit anyway? I hear that he has the whole Florida Ponies up," says one. He's definitely the tallest. He also seems to be the authority. The leader, maybe? I try to picture the Party Ponies following anyone...even Zeus.
Nope.
A couple other centaurs chime in about all the big bashes and people they've forgotten about. Annabeth's face becomes more and more hopeful.
"So will you take us?" Annabeth asks hesitantly.
The Party Ponies aren't hesitant. "YES!!!"
Well, pack your bags my friends. We're going to New Orleans!
...Wonder if I can still play my trumpet...
Hey my peeps. How's the things? Good to
hear, good to hear. Sorry bout not updating in awhile. I've got loads of homework. And I'm a total procrastinator. So of course I've had about a week to do a couple pages of Englishy homeworky stoof. It's due tomorrow. So obviously I did the whole thing in about two hours today. Cause you know what a smarty pants I am.
Yeah no.
Anywho, sorry again for not updating. (No matter what I sound like at the moment, I mean this sincerely.) I love writing this, so don't give up reading it. Also I've started a collection of PJo & HoO one shots for when I don't really feel like actually following a plot line. Check it out. Feedback is always appreciated.
Love all of you!!!!!!!!!!!!😎
Chow for now
