<<This is Rakutsu's POV and thanks for making this far XD>>
I woke up in a bright room, my whole body aching like I just fought a war. And then I remembered I just did. I could hear whispers around me and some sort of a whirring air conditioner. I struggled to focus my sight on somebody's face peering on me.
"Oh thank Arceus he's awake!" I heard the familiar voice of my biological sister.
"Ugh," I grunted as memories flooded into my head. A huge explosion. Then we were falling and saved by an Air Support's Dragonite. And then Colress. "Where's Faitsu?!!!? Where's my twin?!"
Gray's already tired face fell.
"Where is she, Gray?" I pleaded as I clutched the white sheet of blanket covering myself. This is not happening. It's all a bad dream, right or some sick joke?
"She's taken, Rakutsu," she sighed. "We don't know her whereabouts or status. I know sorry is useless but its the least I could offer," she patted my head.
"You could have sent people to save her! You could have chased the ship! You could have tracked them down!" I shoved her hand away.
"The ship has some sort of electromagnetic barrier, Rakutsu! Besides, they were too fast and are armed! Don't be too naive, I know Faitsu's life is as important as everybody's life but we can't just send people off a ship firing ice at every chance they've got!"
"Chase them at a respectful distance then!"
"Everyone was injured by the blast and attacks! I can't sacrifice them! You didn't even witness what happened! You fainted when the ship sent off electromagnetic waves and knocked out almost all of those in air!" I saw frustration flash in her eyes. "No one gets left behind. That's what I was taught first in the IP. But we have to think of the majority's sake too!"
"You're just selfish and afraid! Just get out," I pointed towards the door. Gray left without another word.
My mind raced for conclusions. Is she alright? What did Colress want with her? Is she still alive? What happens now?
As time passed my anger faded away. Gray made sense. I know its painful but we can't always choose both. I'm sure Faitsu would understand too. She was special, my foster sister. Always so kind and considerate and selfless.
After a few moments, the nurse arrived with a Chansey. After checking my vitals and condition she left, saying that I was okay and I only had a few cuts and burns that would heal quickly. I learned that I was asleep for a whole day and that my other friends were still recovering. She let me eat some noodles and drank some water to regain my strength. Someone from the IP and UDF interviewed me the next hour about the Frigate and everything I knew and witnessed. Muro was returned by the nurse, now in perfect health. After taking another rest, the nurse said I could go if I wanted, otherwise I could take a few more moments to rest.
I wasted no more time when she said that. Two reasons: I wanted to see Hyuu and Christoph's condition and I knew more injured people needed good rooms. I snatched my now-cleaned clothes from the hanger and headed in the Driftveil General Hospital's hallways.
It was crowded. So many civilians and soldiers were injured. I heard we had a few casualties, most of them from Team Plasma and Air Support soldiers. They were hit directly by the ice cannons, the explosion, and the electromagnetic wave. I could see familiar uniforms of the ex-Plasma members that helped us. It took me several minutes before I could track down Hyuu and Christoph's rooms (which were, thank Arceus, near to each other).
Hyuu was sleeping in his bed and had a lot of burn marks. Christoph was worse. He had a broken arm and his body was covered in bandages. I felt guilty for dragging him in the trouble.
