<<A tribute to the next season of Game of Thrones, haha. This is Gray's POV and the longest chapter yet.>>

A huge explosion rocked the stupid container van I was locked into. I wonder if that's the UDF or just a stupid Plasma grunt accidentally setting up the explosives. It's the first time an explosion actually sounded good to me. Maybe it's the only chance I have in escaping.

I struggled with my bonds and forced myself to peek into a small hole Ghetsis had thoughtfully provided for me. My skin rubbed against the thick fibers of the rope. I'd earn a lot of bruises and scratches after this. If I survive, that is.

"Come on, come on," everyone in the vicinity were shouting and screaming. They would never hear me at this point. Oh Arceus, I hope Rakutsu and his friends are safe from this crazy war.

I wonder... will they kill people and Pokémon?

This is war, brain, you should be used to death. Team Plasma grunts are terrorists. They're probably going to kill everyone, too.

...Wouldn't they? This still feels wrong. Violence might be the fastest way but it won't solve anything. And even those innocent Pokémon were just brainwashed and controlled! They are criminals but killing them doesn't make it right.

You know what brain? Let's just focus on escaping for now and finding your Poké Balls.

I adjusted my position and started rubbing the rope to the metal bar. Thank Arceus I wasn't handcuffed or tied with chains. Please, please, please friction, do your magic.

"The cave wall exploded! Maractus, hurry up!" I heard a grunt shout.

"THEY BOMBED THE WALL! SECURE THE AREA! CHARIZARD, COME WITH ME!"

"Notify Sir Colress! The Champion might be here already!"

Suddenly, there was a familiar roar. I don't know where I heard it before but it sounded awfully familiar and powerful, like it came from a legendary Pokémon. Suddenly, some of my hair strands rose, like static electricity or something.

Wait a minute.

Is it... Zekrom?!

My ears almost bled with another angry roar from what I think is Zekrom. There was a crackle of electricity which flashed through my peephole. I heard a lot of screams and shouts but I didn't know what the heck was happening. Well done, Ghetsis. You screwed my life again.

"IT'S KING N!!!" someone shouted, voicing out my thoughts.

"THE TRAITOR HAS RETURNED! MAKE HIM PAY!" a grunt screamed for vengeance.

I looked at the rope, oh Arceus, it isn't even half cut! If N is here, maybe... maybe... Zekrom and Reshiram may defeat Kyurem, right?!

The door to the container van suddenly opened. A grunt's face came into my view and saw my desperate attempts to cut the rope.

"You ain't escaping this time, missy," he said as.. oh Arceus, handcuffed my arm. "Remember me, you prick?! I'm one of those grunts you defeated two years ago!" he shoved me outside where I witnessed the whole thing. Hundreds of Pokémon were swarming to Zekrom. If Zekrom doesn't get any backup soon, he'd be defeated.

"I'm not going to cooperate without my P-"

Before I could finish my sentence, another explosion sent cave boulders flying. In the distance, I could see the UDF and IP Pokémon getting out of the blasted hole. Great, backup is here! The grunt was momentarily distracted and I took the opportunity to use some tricks I learned in the IP. I kneed him in the balls followed by a kick in the face. Soon enough, I just freed myself out of that handcuff. I locked the grunt inside the container van. Ha.
