That night I had a dream. I always get that dream and I'm sorta sick of it but that's the only thing that is left from my past. When I was five, mom already told me that Faitsu and I aren't really siblings even though we look almost exactly alike. I was sad at first but then I thought: WHO CARES. The important thing is the present, and we'll always be a family, blood-related or not. But before that, I always had this dream:

I was on a sinking ship, crying my eyes off. I was a young child again. The water was cold, very cold, icy cold. I was flapping my arms everywhere, sorta like a jellyfish on meth. I can't swim, duh, but I managed to grab on some floating thing. Then I saw someone trying to drag me to safety, a girl older than me for a few years with blonde hair and stormy gray eyes, like mine. She was whispering: "It's gonna be alright", over and over again. Did I forgot to mention it was raining hard with strong waves hitting me every time? She lost her grip on me and she vanished. Then, a friendly Alomomola suddenly appeared and the next thing I know was I'm trapped inside a huge sphere (which I realized was a huge bubble). I lost consciousness after that. And then I woke up at this nice house, where a lady (mom) and a girl who looked almost exactly like me (Faitsu) lived and raised me up.

The girl with blonde hair and gray eyes... is she still alive? Deep inside, I know she's my sister or cousin or whatever blood-related name you like to call it. I hope she is, and I hope we meet someday.

Next morning, I left the Pokémon Center early, without saying goodbye to Hyuu or Faitsu. Hyuu was pretty exhausted from his battles with uh... evil scumbags in dark alleys while I get the luxury of battling in a nice, air-freshened building. Faitsu encountered Team Plasma though, and I was pretty concerned, but she seems okay and handled it pretty well.

Today, I'll challenge the third badge. Many might think I'm crazy since I'll challenge a gym with only one Pokémon, but I trust Dewo, he has the guts for it and he's pretty strong. According to the Pokédex, he's gonna evolve soon and I'm looking forward to that.

As I marched my way towards the Pokemon Gym, I realized that we're gonna deal with bug types. I never really encountered much back home, since we live near the ocean and not a forest. I actually never stood at least seven feet from one. I know that water isn't really that powerful against bug, but Dewo is one heck of a water type.

I opened the doors, and I almost peed on my pants. THE GYM WAS LITTERED WITH SILKY GROSS THREADS! EVEN THE CEILING WAS COVERED WITH THEM! I smell something I DEFINITELY DO NOT LIKE and almost puked. There were icky rolls of threads and had an entrance and all that and they were all connected with even grossier threads. I never realized that a gym would look like.... a spiderweb. I'm not scared of small spiders, but GALVANTULAS?! ARIADOSES?! NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE! THIS GYM LOOKS LIKE A HOUSE FULL OF GIGANTIC SPIDER POKEMON.

But a man must face his fear sometime. And I think this is the perfect time.

I took some wobbly steps towards the icky spider web cocoons. I avoided LOOKING at the silky threads that might be INFESTED with MILLIONS of tiny spiders. Hey don't judge, this is a BUG type gym after all. Some harlequin stopped me and I sorta thanked him for the distraction and beat his Pokémon quickly.

As I entered the silky cocoons, I GOT SUCKED IN. LIKE WHAT IN PHYSICS IS THAT?! I imagined some huge spider sucking me.... but I got a NASTIER imagination: A HUGE WORM POKEMON THAT WANTS TO SUCK MY HEAD OFF. HEY THAT HAPPENS IN MOVIES!!! I squeaked, and I can feel Dewo giving me a what-the-heck look. Fortunately, there were more harlequins to distract me but every time I come across another cocoon, I imagine more premonitions: FLESH-EATING WHIRLIPEDES, BLOOD-SUCKING WURMPLES, AND SOME DUSTOX THAT WANTS TO SUCK MY EYEBALLS! I should definitely stop, but my mind can't like its a reflex program.
