<<Let's DO THIIIIS!!!!! Rakutsu's POV>>

Let's just say backpacking is not my thing. Especially, if IT'S NOT ON MOUNTAINS BUT INSIDE THEM.

"Relax Rakutsu," Black said, strolling next to me.

I stared at the brochure I grabbed from the Pokémon Center back at Driftveil. It featured two caves carved out of the Twist Mountain Range. The smaller but darker one, Mistralton Cave, was east. Black said that it once was home to a legendary Pokémon my sister had apparently befriended. The huge cave to the north was Chargestone cave.

It's where we were supposed to go.

Chargestone Cave was made out almost of lodestone, a permanent magnet. Due to this, the cave had a strong magnetic field, creating electromagnets in the process. Some rocks in the cave were luminous blue, for a reason I don't understand. Some blue rocks levitate and you can push them out of the way thanks to magnetism. Science. Much wow.

"I've passed and trained in this cave a million times," Black said. "I practically memorized the place."

Yeah right. I was not a big fan of caves. Maybe I'm claustrophobic or something because the idea of getting trapped inside tons of rocks with no water and food is giving me the willies.

"But we're gonna check out the Season Research Lab first. Cheren's there and he wanted us to accompany him to Chargestone for some research purposes," Black said. "Still the science nerd."

After passing some wild grass and trainers, Black left me to battle (he had his jacket's hood hiding his identity) until we finally reached the building, or must I say, a GREENHOUSE. We were ushered inside by a female scientist. There were crops and trees inside the facility and scientists in lab coats tinkering with controls and machines. I could see four sectors, each dedicated for each season. There were Deerlings playing inside another sector, where some more scientists were checking them.

"Glad you came," Leader Cheren came into view. "Thanks for fitting us into your busy schedule," he brofisted Black. Apparently, they were childhood friends AND NEIGHBORS.

"You're gonna collect stones right?" Black asked.

"Yeah. I'm doing two researches at the same time. I'm helping Professor Juniper with the Chargestone's rocks effects on electric Pokémon and the seasons affecting specific ones. Thank Arceus its a day-off in the gym today. Hey, I've found out-" Cheren bored Black for more scientific terms.

I decided to let myself wander in this facility so I started to work my way to the sector were Deerlings were. Two scientists looked agitated and were arguing.

"Is something wrong?" I asked.

The scientists looked at me, hesitating. "You're with Leader Cheren right?"

I nodded. "Yeah."

The other one sighed. "One of our Deerlings escaped. We were observing their behavior on different seasons, you see and we had to let them outside in the garden to play. One of them broke out running. Coincidentally, it was one of our special ones: Milli, a Deerling with the rare Serene Grace ability. Milli was born inside the facility and we're afraid she can't survive long outside the lab."

"We're sending scouts to look for her now. She has this ear tag to differentiate her from other Deerlings. Well, we were wondering if..."

"If you see her in the Chargestone Cave please recover her. Leader Cheren will know what to do."

Poor Milli. She's probably scared out of her wits. Or enjoying the time of her life. Anyway, she's not safe outside and I'm happy to oblige. "Sure. I'll help."
