<<Rakutsu's POV>>

"Muro use Blizzard!"

"Druddigon use Dragon Tail!"

I was now in the middle of a gym battle with Leader Drayden of the Opelucid City for my seventh gym badge. Black had gone somewhere else to chat with my sister, whom we were supposed to be meeting right now. I ship them. Ten years from now, I'm kind of expecting hot-headed, brunette, gray-eyed kids asking me for gifts every holiday.

Anyway... Hyuu had discovered the Plasma Frigate and now tracking it down with Leader Marlon. About time something good happens.

"Use Ice Beam!" my Samurott didn't waste any time to land a critical hit on the ice type weak Druddigon. With Blizzard, my opponent won't last long. The dragon type froze over.

"Finish it with Hydro Pump!" with the powerful torrent of water, the opponent easily fainted.

"Wonderful!" Leader Drayden commented as he took out a Flygon. "Rock Slide!"

Boulders critically hit Muro as I ordered our next attack. "Force it to land with Hail!"

Flygon was buffeted by the frozen rocks. "Lock it with Hydro Pump!"

"Dodge and use Earth Power!"

The ground type attack my Samurott. However, Muro wasn't going to back down easily. "Use another Ice Beam!"

"Dragon Tail!"

"Oh no you don't, use Ice Beam again!" with the final attack, Flygon fainted.

"Return, Muro. It's your turn Lith!" I said as Leader Drayden took out a Haxorus.

"Use Dragon Tail, Haxorus!" 

"Earthquake!" the Haxorus tumbled off balance as Lith commanded a powerful Earthquake.

"Slash, Haxorus!" the Haxorus scratched GIgalith with its powerful claws.

"Use Stone Edge, bud!"

"Fine then, use Assurance!" both attacks hit each other's Pokémon.

"Finish this with Rock Tomb and an Earthquake!"

"Use Assurance again!" the Haxorus hit Lith first, creating considerable damage. However, boulders soon fell on the Haxorus and it eventually fainted with an Earthquake. 

Drayden laughed as he returned his fainted Pokémon. "Wonderful. I'm grateful that we had a chance to meet and battle! You didn't even lose a Pokémon!" he handed me a sick-looking badge: the Legend Badge.

"Thanks, Leader Drayden," I grin as I pin it in my shirt. "I learned from the best!"

"From the Champion and Hero of Truth, I presume," he said as he stood to go somewhere. "Come with me, young man, Professor Juniper asked me to tell you about the Pokémon that created Unova."

I was really curious about this history stuff especially about Reshiram, Zekrom and Kyurem and it seems like the best time for it. I mean, war is coming right? And knowledge is power. I guess knowledge would be our ammo against Team Plasma. I followed Leader Drayden out of his awesome gym and we started to stroll past Opelucid's busy streets.

"I believe you are already informed about the tale of the Twin Heroes and the splitting of one Pokémon to Reshiram and Zekrom?" 

I nodded.

"The Twin Heroes sundered the region in two as they fought to see which of them was right. In that desperate hour, the single dragon split its body into a white Pokémon and a black Pokémon, even though ideals and truth don't need to be in opposition!" Leader Drayden continued. "As the story goes, a third dragon Pokémon, Kyurem, also came into existence in that era. And there may be proof of this to be found in a treasure passed down in my family for generations."
