Chapter Four
Finally it was friday, the day Cheryl was moving in. Kimberley had been cleaning the house, although she wasn't really sure why. Cheryl was going to be living there, she would see the house in a mess on a daily basis, and would probably end up cleaning it herself.
The girls had spent that last couple of days talking on the phone, planning everything. Kimberley was taking the day off work, and Cheryl said she would do the same.
Just as the blonde was fixing the cushions on the sofa, she heard the loud sound of Beyonce's Halo echoing outside. Walking over to the window, she looked out to see Cheryl pulling into the driveway behind her little, red Corsa VXR. It was a beautiful day, so the Geordie had her roof down, and a large pair of sunglasses on. Kimberley could see the numerous suitcases and boxes piled in the back seats, she could only imagine what the boot looked like. As she continued to watch the girl pulled the shades off, and got out of the car.
Just as Cheryl reached the boot, she looked up and noticed Kimberley at the window. Smiling, she held her hands out, and sighed jokingly. She watched as the girl laughed, before disappearing out of sight.
Kimberley opened the door, the noise making the other girl look up. "Need some help?" she asked.
"That would be great," Cheryl smiled back. Opening the boot, she began pulling out one of the suitcases, filled with her shoes. "If you haven't guessed already . . . I do have a lot of clothes."
Kimberley laughed while walking over to the woman. "I can see that," she smiled, getting a better look at the extent of her belongings. "Do you want all your stuff in your room?"
"Aye . . . I think that would be the best idea," Cheryl replied, the suitcase falling to the ground and squashing her foot. "Arghh Fukin' hell man!" she cursed.
"Ooh god! Are you ok?" Quickly Kimberley lifted the suitcase, releasing the girls foot, the weight of the case weighing her down. "Sh*t! That's heavy," she gasped, hoping Cheryl hadn't done to much damage to herself.
Cheryl bend down and and began rubbing her toes, instantly she regret wearing the sandles she had chosen that morning. "I'm fine . . . honestly," she smiled, a bit embarrassed. "I can be a bit clumsy sometimes, as I'm sure you'll find out."
"Well careful . . . can't be injuring the thing you make a living out of . . . can we?" Kimberley giggled whilst looking down at the Geordie's toes, which had began to redden.
Taking hold of the case once more, Cheryl lifted it off the ground. "It certainly wouldn't be the best idea," she laughed. "Just grab one of those boxes or cases . . . you decide, and let's get crackin' " She then hobbled off into the house.

After helping Cheryl up to her room with all her belongings, Kimberley then left her to it, letting her sort the room out in peace.
First Cheryl unpacked one of her favourite bedding sets, and made the bed. Then she made an attempt to unpack all her little bits and bobs . . . photos, books, sentimental stuff really.
The room was already quite modern. A large four poster bed housed the far wall, while a trendy white desk sat near the gorgeous bay window. There was also a large wardrobe, which she was thankful for, sitting beside it.
"Cheryl?"
Turning, Cheryl looked at the door, which was being knocked gently. "You can come in Kimberley," she called.
Kimberley opened the door and entered. She smiled to the girl, who was standing in the middle of the room looking very flustered and stressed. "You know . . . if you wanna paint or get your own furniture in . . . you can," she said.
Cheryl smiled, she wasn't a white wall kind of girl. "I might paint it if you don't mind? But I love everything else. Your sister had some style," she said, referring to the gorgeous furniture, and soft, creamy carpet."
"Course you can," Kimberley said while sitting down on the chair in the corner of the room.
It was still kind of weird between them, as they both didn't really know the boundaries, but Kimberley figured the girl wouldn't mind. "I was thinking . . . "she started, but waited until Cheryl had turned and faced her, "Maybe we could order a chinese or something ? . . . you know . . . sit at the table with it, and have a chat, get to know each other more?"
"I'd love to Kimberley, but I really need to get all this sorted. God knows how long it will take for me to put all those clothes away," Cheryl sighed back, an apologetic look on her face.
Kimberley smiled. " No no . . . it's ok. Don't worry about it. I'm sure we can do it another time." She was about to offer the girl a hand, but decided against it, as she didn't want to intrude to much. Getting up, she made her way over to the door. " Ok . . . well if you change your mind, or you need a hand with anythin' just give me a shout," and with that she left.

Kimberley stifled a yawn, her eyes flicking open as she did so. Turning on her side, she glanced at the small digital clock, that sat on the wooden table beside her bed.

Craving a glass of cold milk, which seemed to happen to her every night, she got out of bed, and dragged her, still tired body, out into the hallway. Just as she reached the top of the stairs, a faint sound caught her attention. 'What the f*ck is that?' she wondered while cocking her head to the side, and scrunching her eyes up, as if it would help her hear better.
The noise continued. Eventually Kimberley worked out the noises where of someone crying . . . well not someone. It had to be Cheryl. Gently, she creeped back up the hall towards the Geordie's bedroom door, and pushed her ear up against it. She could now clearly hear the girls quite sobbing . . . she sounded really upset. Placing her hand on the handle, Kimberley was just about to twist it, but soon changed her mind. 'It's really non of my business," she thought to herself, pulling her hand away, and placing it by her side.
After deciding she wasn't fussed about the milk anymore, Kimberley made her way back to her own bedroom. She couldn't help but wonder what was wrong with the girl. Was it her? . . . Didn't she like Kimberley?, or was it more of a personal matter.
