Chapter Fourteen
"Where are you goin'?"
"Just out for a bit."
After getting everyone out the house, Kimberley finally got herself ready. It was funny how her hangover didn't seem to effect her, but then again the shower done her the world of good.
"You're goin' out at six?" Cheryl asked puzzled.
Kimberley smiled back. The girl looked adorable. "Yeah. I was goin' to get a coffee, and then maybe go for a walk . . . clear my head a bit."
"Why what's wrong?" the Geordie frowned. Slowly, she began walking towards the girl.
"Nothing." Picking up her bag, Kimberley checked it's contents, making sure she had all the essentials.
"Fine. That means you wouldn't mind if I came then?" Cheryl looked at the blonde. She knew something was wrong.
"Course not," Kimberley shrugged. She was lying. Of course she minded, but she knew if she rejected the girl more questions would be asked.
The Geordie tuned and made her way to the stairs. "Give me five minutes." When she returned she was wearing one of her sports tracksuits, and a pair of trainers. "Let's go," she said picking up her keys. Do you wanna drive?"
"No it's fine. We can take your car."

"So . . . " Kimberley started as they walked arm in arm through Hyde Park, both of them holding iced coffees as it was too warm for the hot stuff. "Happy hangover?"
"I told you . . . I can handle me drink."
"So I can see," the blonde replied, a cheeky smile on her face.
Thinking back to the previous night confirmed that statement. Cheryl was like a machine when it came to the whole drinking thing. On more than one occasion the girls jokinly warned Sarah that her throne could shortly be taking over by the Geordie lass.
"What kinda Geordie would I be if I couldn't?" Cheryl laughed nudging the girl.
"Let's go and sit down for a bit." Guiding the brunette over, Kimberley found a small bench overlooking The Serpentine.
Together they sat there, a comfortable silence hung in the air as they each took sips of their cold beverages.
Kimberley watched as a large swan swam by, it's babies following closely behind. The sight made her smile. This was all part of the reason she loved this park so much. Why she loved sitting at this lake. "You know . . . " she started while sitting the plastic cup she was holding down beside her. "I love sitting here."
The girls voice broke Cheryl from her own thoughts. Turning she looked at Kimberley, who in turn continued staring out at the water. "Do you come here a lot?"
"I used to come at least once a week." For the first time, Kimberley looked away and turned to face Cheryl. "I don't really get the chance to come anymore."
The Geordie smiled. Reaching over she placed her hand on the girls thigh. "Why?"
"Because I have a cafe to run and a boyfriend to please. Their isn't enough time for it anymore. I wish their was though because I like having time to myself."
Instantly Cheryl felt bad. Why did she had to tag along? She should of let Kimberley come alone. She should of let her have some time to herself. "Kimberley I'm sorry. If I'd of known I wouldn't . . . "
"No don't worry about it," the blonde cut in, her hand patting Cheryl's. "It's fine."
Still feeling bad, Cheryl turned, and went back to looking at the lake. Her eye caught the same sight the older girls had moments earlier. A smiled appeared across her lips. It was so cute. "Do you want children?"
