Epilogue

"Mam! Mam! Mam!"

Cheryl flicked her eyes open, smiling when she saw her daughter, Erin, leaning over her. "What is it, Sweetie?" she asked, playing dumb.

Cupping her mothers face with her tiny hands, Erin leant in so she could whisper into her ear. "I think Santa has been."

"Ooh..." Cheryl smirked. "Have you been down to see?"

"No," Erin replied. "I wanted to wake you and mummy first."

It was something the couple had decided to teach the youngster, Kimberley was referred to as 'mummy' and Cheryl was 'mam.' It helped to distinguish who she wanted or who she was calling after.

"Wake her then," Cheryl winked, glancing down at the sleeping woman before sitting up to give her daughter a kiss.

Erin bounced from her position on top of Cheryl to the middle of the bed. "Mummy?" she whispered into Kimberley's ear. "Mummy? You need to wake up."

Kimberley moaned. "Mmm..."

"Silly Mummy... you need to wake up," Erin giggled. "So we can go downstairs to see if Santa has been."

Whilst Erin continued her attempt to arouse a sleeping Kimberley, Cheryl pushed herself out of bed, reaching for her dressing gown "God!" she moaned, placing both her hands on either side of her expanding bump. "Gettin' big little one."

After adopting Erin as a baby four years previous, the couple had decided to have another child, but this time they had decided to use a donor, Cheryl nominating herself to carry the baby. Although she still owned her dance studio, she didn't teach anymore, instead going in from time to time to see all of the students.

"Are you ok, baby?"

Turning, Cheryl smiled down at her two favourite girls. "I'm fine."

Kimberley sat up, patting the space beside her as Erin snuggled into her lap. "Merry Christmas!"

"Merry Christmas," Cheryl beamed before climbing back into bed. "Love you," she grinned as she gave her a kiss.

"Love you too."

Growing impatient, Erin let out a sigh. "Can we go downstairs now?" she moaned.

"Ok, ok," Kimberley laughed. "I'm gettin' up." Rolling off of the bed, she wrapped her dressing gown around herself before holding out her hand for Cheryl to take. "Come on, gorgeous, let's go and see what Santa has brought."

As they made their way downstairs, Bailey and Sandy ran up, wagging their little tails.

"Hello," Cheryl cooed. Putting all her engery into it, she leant down and gave them a stoke.

"Cheryl!?"

"Yeah, babe?" Cheryl replied, placing the piece of tinsle she was holding down and stepping back to examine the tree.

"Come here... I've got somethin' for you!"

Smiling happliy whilst humming her favourite christmas song, Cheryl skipped down the hall towards the door. "Early christmas present?" she excitedly asked when she spotted her girlfriend standing next to her car.

"Shut your eyes," Kimberley instructed.

Doing as she was told, Cheryl closed them.

Laughing, Kimberley opened the cars door and reached for the thing she knew Cheryl wanted the most. "Hold out your hands," she told her as she carried it over. "Here you go."
