Chapter Thirty Eight
"Boo!" Cheryl laughed, creeping up behind her girlfriend and clutching onto her waist.
"F*ck!" Kimberley cursed, nearly slicing her fingers off with the knife she was using. "Yeah... nice one Einstein!" she moaned before turning around a waving it about. "I nearly chopped my digits off!"
"Ooh... and that wouldn't be a good thing," Cheryl smirked, her dirty mind getting the better of her.
Placing the knife down, Kimberley wrapped her arms around Cheryl's shoulders, pulling her closer. "No it wouldn't," she winked, tickling the nape of her neck. "I wouldn't be..."
"Lovely!" Nicola giggled as she walked into the back of the cafe, hearing Kimberley's dirty words.
Ignoring her, both girls continued there loving, and rather funny banter.
"What are you doin' here?" Kimberley asked.
"Well..." Cheryl smiled. "It's lunchtime and I thought I'd come and see my amazingly sexy girlfriend at work! I was hoping she would make me a spot of lunch. I'm so hungry after lessons."
"What would you like?" Gently caressing Cheryl's back as she spoke, Kimberley couldn't get over how beautiful she truly was.
Cheryl thought for a moment. "What soup is on today?"
"Cock-a-leekie," Kimberley joked.
"Yuck! Don't want any of that!" Giving her a playful slap on the bottom, Cheryl leant in for a kiss.
Nicola rolled her eyes at the women as she carried on with the task at hand.
"Beef broth," mumbled Kimberley before her girlfriends tongue was in her mouth.
"Is that breakfast ready!?" Sarah shouted.
"Two minutes babe!" Rushing around, Nicola threw everything onto a plate. "I wouldn't advice you comin' back here! Cheryl and Kimberley are gettin' it on!"
"Nicola!" Kimberley hissed, breaking away from the kiss, fearing what the customers might of heard.
The readhead laughed before scurrying past them. "Health and safety Kimberley," she winked.

"Here you go baby," Kimberley smiled, placing the tray of food items down. "I'll be over in a minute, ok?"
Cheryl reached for her hand, giving it a squeeze. "Ok," she smiled back before letting go.
Tucking into her healthy salad, Cheryl watched her girlfriend dreamily. She loved watching her work, interacting with the customers, plastering a smile on her face for each and everyone of them.
Over time, Cheryl had got to know the regulars. They were mostly older people, but always very polite when they saw her, usually going over and having a right good gabber with her.
"Everythin' ok for you baby?" Kimberley asked, sitting herself down across from her girlfriend.
"Delicious," Cheryl smiled, opening the bottle of water and lifting it to her lips.
Kimberley let out a light giggle before picking up her own sandwich. "I can't believe you're goin' to America tomorrow for a week... without me!" she said, using it as a conversation starter.
"Aye... but, you're join' me on the second week," replied Cheryl, trying to make the situation sound a little better.
"I'm still goin' to be lost without," Kimberley pouted, generally sad at the prospect of being home alone for a week.
