"Alright, is everything set up, are we good to go?" Chloe asks
"Yeah, you should, we need to ask the same, though to the other side of the call." The guy says
It's raining, I love it, it's cloudy and pretty cold, which I never really get to feel.
"They just relayed that they're ready to go." The tech guys says
"Okay, we're ready."
All the sudden the giant screen lights up with multiple people on the screen.
"Hey guys." Chloe says
A man responds back, he was one of the units sent to go get all our recruits, "Hi Chloe, good thing we could contact you guys."
"You guys good down there?" She asks
"I guess you could say that?" The man says
"Why do you say that?" Chloe asks
Trinity walks up to the screen, "Well, they locked down the city, and we aren't allowed to leave our houses, except for work, so we really shouldn't be here."
"I know, is there anything else?" Chloe says
"Rumor has it, they're going to drop air bombs onto us, there was a riot earlier this week." Trinity responds
"I don't understand, what's with all the riots?" Chloe says
"You didn't hear?" Trinity asks, "The government was just dissolved, President Aleman took over as the only piece of government, he passed a few laws. Laws like an earlier curfew, no pay for our work, you can't leave the charter, and a lot of other stuff. Not to mention multiple people just 'disappearing' out of nowhere."
"He did what now." Chloe turned a bit pale
"Yep, wouldn't be surprised if they dropped a few bombs in the following hours, but this warehouse was equipped to handle this kind of stuff, right?"
Chloe doesn't respond, probably because it's a no.
"Right?" Trinity asks, impatiently
"Uh, well, kinda, I don't know though." Chloe says
Trinity turns pale as well, "Listen, you can't just leave us in the dust, we're important to you guys, we make up most the army, along with all the other charter rebellions."
"Speaking of which, we contacted them." Michael came forward, probably to get Trinity from passing out
"How'd that go?" Noah asks
"Pretty well, they all agreed on the same things we're fighting for, it's just that they're more prepared, unlike us." Michael says
"Maybe we can send you guys there to train, we'll figure it out." Chloe says
"As long as we can get out, Chloe, we aren't safe here, and you know it." Michael says
"I know, it isn't safe, we need to get you guys out, as soon as possible." Chloe responds
"Chloe, can I talk to you really quick?" A man pushes Chloe aside
"Is that all we need to talk about?" Noah asks
"Yeah, I guess, but I wanna talk to James alone, if you guys could leave, that'd be great." Trinity says
Everyone leaves, I'm the only one left.
"Hey guys." I say, kind of awkwardly
"Hi Michael! We miss you so much, how you feeling?" Trinity asks
