"That's why I suggest that we shouldn't stay here for too long, it'll blow our cover." Chloe says to Aaron
"I appreciate your argument, but I'm in control, and my verdict is that we need to stay here and train together, at least until September." Aaron says
September?!
"September?" Chloe asks, "That is insane! We don't need four months to train! Also, who actually organized this whole thing? Me, that's why I should be the leader, well me and my team."
"Unfortunately you're not, because I have more people that voted for me. Thank you for making me consider it, but it's not happening." Aaron says
"Whatever, anyways, we have a meeting tonight upstairs, and you're invited." Chloe offers
"I will be there." Aaron says
Aaron walks away.
"I don't know about him Chloe." I say
"He's not used to this kind of power, he'll shape out, hopefully." Chloe doubtfully says
Something's not right.
"Oh James, before you go, I have an important question for you." Chloe grabs my arm
I turn around, "What's up?"
"Do you think we should reveal what we saw to everyone at tonight's meeting?" She asks
"Get Aaron out when we do, I don't trust him." I say
"Fine, so we'll reveal it, once Aaron is out of the meeting." Chloe says
"Sounds good." I say, walking off
"Good evening everyone, thank you guys for making it," Chloe says, "For all of those who haven't met him yet, this is our leader, Mr. Aaron Wynee."
He nods and sits down.
"This will be where we meet once a week for the next four months while we train. I brought you guys here tonight to discuss a major issue that we will have," Chloe says, "And that is what kind of government we will be."
Great.
"So I'm going to go around the table and ask for everyone's opinion on what we should be." Chloe says
Everyone goes around and says what they believe mostly the same. "I want more freedom, give the citizens more opportunity, renew the constitution, make alliances, make America what it used to be." Then it came to me.
"James?" I zoned out
"Oh sorry, well I agree with everyone else, more freedom, radicalize the constitution again, alliances." I say
"Don't repeat everyone else, give us something that you want." Chloe demands
Am I really going to do it? Yes James, you are.
"I want a capitalist, democratic society. We vote for our president, the people vote. Set up Congress and the House of Representatives once again, so that the power isn't solely in one persons hands. Not everyone is equal in a capitalist country, which is okay. Some will thrive, others will struggle. But we can help the struggling, and yes we need to get rid of old outlandish laws and create better ones." I say
Everyone stares blankly at me, except for Aaron and Chloe.
"How do you know that much?" Chloe asks
"Books." I say
"How did you get a book? I thought they were outlawed?" Aaron asks
"I have my ways."
"Well I have no idea how to set up a congress or house, but we'll figure it out-"
