Every so often, the ground rumbles. I also hear tapping around us, it must be raining.
"Are we ever going to get out of here? It's been days." I complain
"Honestly James, I can't say." Chloe says
"I want out, I can't take this anymore." I say
"There's not much we can do now, they have us at our knees." Chloe says
I walk away, what's next? Nothing? I'm going to drive myself crazy in here.
"James, come here for a second hun." I hear my moms voice
I come sit next to her, "What's up?"
"Are you okay?" She asks
"I'm just frustrated that we're in here." I say
"Well, I just want to say... that I'm very proud of you, to be honest James I never thought that you could pull this off." She says
"And I was wrong."
"Thanks mom." I smile and hug her
"Well I have to run, I'll see you later." I say
I go into the control room.
"What's up James?" Eric says
"Frustrated." I'm getting tired of saying it
"Why?" He asks
"I'm getting tired of sitting here." I say
"Me too," Eric says, "That's why I've devised a plan."
"And what's that?" I ask
"Well, knowing Chloe, she doesn't want to lay a finger on them." Eric says
"So?" I question
"Well, I have control of the antiaircraft missiles, there are still 14 they haven't found yet." Eric says, "Not to mention, there's some back at home too."
"Why don't you just go ahead and do it?" I ask
"Well, I don't think Chloe's exactly 'ready' to do that." Eric says
"What do you mean?" I ask
"She's that way, she reacts too late sometimes, we have to strike first now." Eric responds
"I can ask her if you want." I offer
"Please, if you could that would be awesome." Eric says
"Yeah, no problem." I say
"Awesome, let me know the answer as soon as possible please." Eric says
Chloe comes to sit next to me.
"Hey James." Chloe says
I finish chewing, "Hey Chloe, what's up."
"Ah, nothing much really." Chloe says
I turn toward her, "I have a question for you." I tell her
"Yeah, what's up?" She asks
"I think we need to use our antiaircraft missiles against the government, we can't tolerate any more rockets." I say
"I would, except there's two things."
"And what are they?"
"Well, for one, we don't have rockets left. And two, we shouldn't attack first, that'd make them probably more mad." She says
