"Welcome to Charter 23, everyone." Chloe says
"We'll be won't be staying here for too long, but we want to prepare more troops, as we inch closer to the capital." Chloe says, "To my left is Kaitlyn, the one who organized the rebellion here."
I stand to her left, "To my left is James, if you need anything, he probably can help you."
Kaitlyn steps forward, "Okay, here's our schedule. For today, we are going to run basic tests, but it's mostly for strength tests. We'll assess how you do, and your weakest point you'll work on. We have highly skilled people here who know their craft well. We're going to do classes for one week, then have a final test."
"Then, we're out." Chloe says
I step forward, "You may want to change into something you don't mind getting gross."
"Get changed, and meet us at the old peacemaker building." Chloe says, everyone walks away.
"What exactly am I doing?" I ask
"You have a couple choices, actually. You could run the mental strength again, help Noah out with guns. Or, you can go with Eric to the hangar and do flying." Chloe says
"I'll do flying, but how are we going to test that?" I ask
"Those are the one's who are so-so with everything. But don't worry, Eric will choose who goes with him." Chloe says
"Thanks." I say, walking off the stage, off to find Eric.
"Welcome cadets." Eric says, everyone circles around us.
"Today is the walkthrough, we don't have a lot of time to prepare you guys, so we're starting off fast." He says
"Flying is simple, if you choose to make it simple," I say, "Don't over think, and always have an eye out for things you might not regularly see."
"Okay, so half go with James, the other half with me." Eric says
The group divides into a perfect half. I walk to a jet, they follow me.
We stand underneath the jet, "This is what you guys will fly, hopefully." I say jokingly
"Follow." I say
They follow me to the ladder, "This is the only way into the cockpit, climb up here." I climb up to the top and stand on the jet, "There is a button right below the glass, press it and the glass will open, and you can get into the jet." I press it, and it opens. I climb down, "Go up and look."
Everyone lines up, I see Chloe watching me, I smile.
Everyone is already down, "Wow, already done." I climb back up into the cockpit.
"There's buttons you have to remember," I say, "They're all marked in each cockpit, so if you forget, it's okay."
"First, you're going to put on your helmet, it's always in here," I put it on, and take it off, "As soon as you turn the jet on, the helmet is turned on. It supplies oxygen when we fly high, and there's a built in radio communication mic, so you can communicate." I say
They're all dead silent, "Any questions yet?" I laugh
Still quiet, "Okay, we'll continue."
"Is there any machine that I can project what I'm seeing?" I ask, "That'd be great."
"Yeah, there should be something in the closet." Chloe says across the hangar, "I'll go get it."
She comes back with a projector, and what looks like a pair of glasses. She hands me the glasses, and climbs down the ladder. She sets up the projector. "Whenever you're ready, there's a button on the glasses, press it."
