"Where were you? Why didn't you answer my calls?" Luke yelled once I walked through the door, the boys behind him. My eyes widened. Oh boy.
"I was filming and my phone was on silent." Luke looked unsure.
"But I have a question to ask you." I said, "Who the hell is that?!" I yelled.
"I'm your mother, sweetheart. I never died. I just didn't want to be with your father." The woman that gave birth to me said.
"I though you was dead, FOR 14 YEARS! You're such a coward. Walking away from your family, but you want to know something?"
"What Melanie?"
"I'm happy you left. I have a new mom that cares for me and my dad so much more. I have 3 brothers that love me more than you will ever will. Get out. Now." I yelled. Calum walking behind me, rubbing my back trying to calm me down.
"Now that's no way to speak to your mother."
"You're not my mom. You might have gave birth to me, but your nothing to me. Now, I'm going to say it one more time. GET THE HELL OUT!" I screeched.
She walked out the door, flipping me off but kept walking.
"It's okay. I promise." Mikey bent down to my level considering I was sitting on the couch, "I swear.."
"She's pathetic for coming back. I can't stand her!" I yelled. My breathing was getting harder before I was picked up and carried to my room where I fell asleep.
-----I was laying in my bed looking at the ceiling. A soft knock came at my door before it slowly opened a head peeked around, asking to come in.
Luke waltzed in the room laying on my bed beside me. He wrapped his black and red flannel covered arm around me, pulling me into his chest.
"You want to know something?" He asked.
"Hm?"
"I'm so thankful your dad married my mom. I wouldn't have the best little sister if they didn't meet." He pulled me closer in the laying down hug. I wrapped my arms around his waist, nuzzling my head into his chest.
"I'm pretty amazing." I laughed.
"And cocky too." He laugh, "but I'm serious. You're literally amazing Mel. You're the best little sister anyone could ask for."
"You're the best brother. For being here when I need you. For everything Luke. I know we had a rough time adjusting to our parents, but I believe we did a freaking hell of a job. Don't tell Ben and Jack." I smiled.
"No promises." He said. I shoved his face before he got up and picked me up on his back. He carried me down the steps and threw me on the couch beside Ashton and Calum. I laid my head in Ashton's lap and my feet in Calum's lap. Cal laid his hands on my calves, either pretending to drum on them or trace small shapes on them.
I felt Ashton run his hand through my hair. I slowly closed my eyes at the pleasuring feeling. I loved people playing with my hair. Ashton was used to this. This was basically our routine. I come down downstairs, and if he's sitting on the couch, I'll lay down and he'll play with my hair. Other times if I'm on the couch, he'll move my head and play with my hair. It's a win-win either way. Ashton and I are really close. I mean, super close.
Everyone filed out of the room except Ashton and I. Calum even left.
"I was thinking. We could do something tomorrow after you get back from being Kian and Jc. Mikey wanted to." Ashton said, still running his hands through my hair. I nodded before murmuring an agreement to his idea. I sighed before leaning up and laying into Ashton's side. He wrapped his arm around me, in a brotherly way, like Luke does.
"I'm bored and tired. Entertain me peasant." I tell him.
"Netflix?"
"Netflix."
