"Babe. Come on." Tyde laughed.

"What?" I laughed as he dragged my body out of my room. I made sure when we was walking out of my room, that i checked for any spots from earlier.

"I want to go out. Just me and you. Nobody following us." He smiled. I nodded before jumping on his back and him carrying us downstairs.

"We're leaving!" I shouted through the house. I heard someone shout for us to wait but Tyde took off through the door and to his car.

I was laughing as the wind blew through my hair, making me choke on it at times.

He opened the door and let me in before shutting it quickly and running to the other side and getting in. Jack was looking through the window pointing at his watch. I nodded my head. Tyde started the car and grabbed my hand as he drove. We eventually arrived at the place he wanted to go.

"The fair?!" I squealed. He nodded before laughing.

He got out of the car and opened my door.

"That's adorable Fred. You didn't see many young men doing that the generation." An old woman said to her husband.

"Miss, you have a keeper there." The old man told me. I smiled before hiding my blushing face in Tyde's chest.

They walked away. We entered the carnival grounds, paying for out tickets.

"Here's a beautiful ticket for a beautiful girl." He flirted. I rolled my eyes, laughing.

We rode several rides. He pulled my off into a crowded space and sat me down beside him.

"I wanted to give you something Mel." He smiled. He held out a small velvet box to me. I grabbed the box smiling. I could see people watching us.

"Mel, this is a ring. A promise ring. We're too young to get married but I want this ring to be eventually turn into a engagement ring. I'm giving you this ring so you know you always have me and my love. It's unconditional for you and always will be." He smiled. I teared up. I pulled him in for a kiss as he slid on the ring.

"That's why you didn't want anyone following?" I laughed.

"Yeah." He said, sheepishly.

"That's so sweet." I smiled, kissing me his dimpled cheek.

People smiled at us, but continued walking. He laced out hands together, and continued walking. We eventually got bored and decided to go back to my house.

"What's that on your hand?" Jack asked, catching my families attention that was in the living room. My parents looked up, confused, along with Luke and Ben.

"It's an engagement ring. Tyde professed his love and now we're running away together."

"You spoiled it Mel!" Tyde said, playing along.

I laughed at all of their reactions.

"No but seriously, it's a promise ring." I smiled.

My dad smiled. Happy that his little girl found someone who won't take advantage of her.

My brothers smiled, still not perfectly happy with Tyde, but happy for us.

Liz, or now known as my mom, smiled knowing her only daughter has found someone she can depend on through think and thin.

"Nice job boy." My dad said, shaking Tyde's shoulder.

He smirked.

"I got lucky with her. You made a beautiful girl." Tyde smiled at my dad.

I wrapped my arms around his torso, smiling into his chest, trying to hide my flaming cheeks.

He hugged back even tighter, resting his head on mine.

"I wanna get lost and drive forever with you"

"You cant use my lyrics." Luke laughed.

I laughed, still burying my face in his chest.

"She just used my lyrics. Oh lord. She IS just like me." Luke groaned. My dad laughed.

I moved away from Tyde and grabbed his hand.

"We're going outside. No one bother us." It was useless to say that, considering they'll still bug us.

I sat down on the edge of the pool, sticking my feet in. Tyde coping my actions.

He wrapped his arm around my should.

"I'm thankful you gave me a second chance." He smiled down at me.

"It's the least I could do though, you've gave me several because how many times my brothers beat you up." I laughed. He kissed my forehead before lifting my chin up and placing a kiss on my lips.

"NO TOUCHY!"

"It was Luke."
