"I said no."
"Who died and made you boss?"
"Mel. He said no. While our parents are out of town, he's your guardian." Luke said.
I flopped on the couch, grumbling incoherent choice words.
"Hush." Ben sighed rubbing his temples, "I said you couldn't go. Now let it go."
"I said you couldn't go. Now let it go." I mocked.
I got up and stormed up the stairs. A few friends had invited me out. Older friends. You might know them.. You know Mark Ballas and Derek Hough? The pro dancers on Dancing with the Stars? Yeah them. In Australia right now. And Ben won't let me go.
"Go away!" I shouted when I heard someone knock on the door.
The door opened anyways.
"Ben, go away."
"Well I was going to let you know that you could go, but I guess you don't want to." I jumped up.
"Thank you!" I giggled hugging him. He rubbed my back.
"Be back by 6:30. We are having dinner with the Hood's and Clifford's and Ashton. They invited us since mom and dad are out of town." I nodded before shoving him out of my room.
Mel: I can go. Just got permission. I have to be back by 6:30 though. Going to dinner with Lukes band mates family.
Derek: awsum. c u l8er
Mark: Derek, your spelling needs help.
I closed out of my iMessage and ready. I put on some ripped light wash shorts and a red crop top and I threw Lukes flannel around my waist. I put a beanie over my naturally wavy hair. I put some mascara on and some lip balm. I stuck my phone in my pocket and ran downstairs.
"I'm never getting my flannel back, am I?" Luke asked. I shook my head and walked out to my car. We was meeting at Kevin's Pizzeria.
I pulled in second later, seeing Derek and Mark outside.
"Damn. That's yours?" Mark asked. I nodded, running my hand over the car hood.
"Paid for myself. No help my from dad. It felt good paying for it." I smiled.
"Alright. Let's go. I'm starving." Derek yelled.
---
We finished eating and started walking around downtown. They didn't have a clue where they was going."Can I get a photo please? My sister and I watch your videos all the time." Someone asked behind me. I turned around to see Bethany Mota.
"Beth!" Derek and I screamed, both tackling her.
"Derek! Hey!" She smiled. I laughed at her a awkwardness.
"Dammit." I could see Luke, Ben, Jack, Michael, Calum, Ashton and someone who shocked me, Tyde was sigh them, walking our way.
"What's up?" Mark laughed, pulling my wrist.
"Brother and boyfriend alert." I laughed, hiding behind Marks body.
"We can see you." Someone laughed. I looked around to see Ben looking at me.
"Uh- guys meet Derek, Bethany, and Mark."
"Tyde!" Beth screamed, bringing the taller boy into a hug.
"Beth!" He laughed.
"Yeah they know each other." I laughed.
"Anyways, that's Tyde." I pointed to each boy as I said their name.
"Luke."
"Ashton."
"Ben."
"Jack."
"Michael."
"Calum."
---"I had a great time with you guys!" I smiled at Derek and Mark.
"Same. We'll have to do to this again when your in LA." Mark smiled.
I nodded. I hugged them and walked to my car. I got in and buckled up.
Safety first?
I got on the free way and got home to see that no one was home at the time.
I ran inside and plugged my phone into the AUX cord.
Music started blaring out of the stereo.
"Uh-- what are you doing?"
